In fact, she was just awkward looking. She started looking more sleek and attractive from about 1996 onwards, IMO. Members DRW50 Posted October 2, 2012 Author Members Share Posted October 2, 2012 The story initially seemed a little aimless but once Veronica went completely off and shot Nikki and Josh there was a huge jumpstart. Y&R had a listless few years and this was the way they said, "We're back!" I think fans did like her, and Candice Daly did a wonderful job. Oh yes, Nikki's shooting was definitely Y&R's big way of saying that 1996-1997 are over in more ways than one lol It was the beginning of another great period for the show. Members DRW50 Posted October 2, 2012 Author Members Share Posted October 2, 2012 Doing that to Nikki, any such huge act of violence, and then having her reconcile with Victor after a decade apart (give or take) was a masterstroke.
