The wedding seemed so lengthy I ended up fast-forwarding most of it. I think Kate and Pippa both need to eat. Beyond that I can see why she got more attention - Kate was so tired and so low-key. I do kind of laugh at the talk about what a great rear end she has. I think that was probably dieted away some time ago.

I think Harry is very handsome and charismatic. But I don't know if that will last, between the partying and the genetics. I think sometimes William and Harry are both put under such a microscope that it's heaven or hell. For instance, I don't think William was just completely gorgeous and is now hideously ugly. Yet I think that's kind of a prevailing view.

William was a good-looking teenager. I think a lot of the attraction to him now is based off, besides the whole Ima be king, bitches!! thing, is his personality and how cute he used to be.

Harry, on the other hand, can run off the bad boy image for years to come.

The Royal family in general has never been a good looking family. Charles was lucky to have that arranged marriage (that's basically what it was) to Diana, who had classic looks.

But beyond that, the generations of inbreeding and a selective gene pool outside of that has really not done them any type of favours.

Let's put it this way, William seemed to take after Diana's looks in his youth, but as he got older, he started looking more and more like Charles, and that's not a good thing...

He also seemed to bald very early in his 20's.

I thought Elizabeth and Margaret (aside from the nose) looked very pretty in the early years of Elizabeth's reign and the few years before that - sometimes I wonder what Elizabeth might have looked like if she hadn't had to be the long-suffering, stoic queen type (although I know there was no big glamour icon waiting to emerge...but she did look striking around the time she took over).

Wouldn't you look confused/scared/sad if everyone who follows both the US and UK tabloids knew you'd been Chuck's "chick on the side" pre-marriage?

Well, in a technical sense, they were.

Think Bill & Monica.

You can say it....lol

Charles is [!@#$%^&*] ugly! William did look like Diana when he was young. He still looks like her but Charles is taking over his body and face....lol.

I didn't know how bald William was.:o I was wondering how old he was....I am late cough cough in age and knock on wood ..still have all my hair..and still growing like a weed.....lol

William looks much older because of his hair loss.

Like I always say, Ugly plus Ugly will never equal Pretty.

Meanwhile, how strange is it that I can still vividly recall the news of Harry's birth, and now I'm crushing on him? It's way too "To Catch a Predator" for my taste.

    • I found it to be a rather odd way to deal with a character departing for parts unknown.
    • Today reminded me as to why I’m a little disappointed in the name that the new Pope chose

Luckily, EJ and Johnny, and pretty much every other character saved today’s episode.  I didn’t expect Javi to be the one to save Sarah though, and I don’t mind it at all, because if it means that Javi is finally going to get his own identity/character, away from his douchy bf, I’m all for it. Javi’s scenes would’ve been a lot better had it not been for him. EJ and Johnny were the best part of today. Their conversation hit a lot of important beats and I’m so looking forward to seeing them play out. And now that EJ knows that Johnny is going to work for Xander, that opens up another dynamic to their storyline and to the Kiriakis family storylines as well. Tying them all together could be really good. There are so many story possibilities that can come out of this. And I thought Carson Boatman did a pretty good job again too.  I also liked that Johnny was there to comfort Chanel after everything that happened with Sarah. They’re so good together. But I do have mixed feelings about Chanel possibly forgiving Johnny so quickly. Hopefully, the question that she asked him at the end of today leads to more conflict for the two of them.  And yeah, still no changes in Alex’s character lol
    • Awesome, thanks so much for taking the time to grab this episode. I had a quick review of your rip because I was curious why it was 700MB and 30 minutes. The first 10 minutes of the episode is 3169 (opening credits at 5 minutes and again at 15 minutes). I thought we had the full HD version of ep.3170 on the YouTube channel, but it appears they added the wrong episode but labelled it 3170.
    • I guess, according to Mike Manning in the Michael Fairman chat, he was almost Derek

    • That's a name I haven't heard in a minute. Thanks!
    • Well, since I'm still up unexpected past my growing-into-it bedtime. lol.   I finally got to rewatch Monday's. I even rewatched Friday's to take it all in. Now that we got the reveal and hit the climax of the SilkPress Sheila storyline, now we get to watch the aftermath and/or turns that come with its climax. So far, so good. Friday left us with three cliffhangers. And what I found surprising was how I felt about them over a rewatch.    I know some of you all felt a way about the dialogue during Kat vs Eva. I remember liking it more the first time around and it was nice for them to have these scenes to establish more of a frenemy vibe for them going forward. That still held up. But I found myself agreeing with you all about that dialogue. lol. Still, it was nice to have both of their POVs.   Second up was Silk Press Sheila vs the Duprees. And I was happy to get a brief spat with Dani in there. But the rest standouts for me was Anita and Martin. Haters can hate and given the tail end of the episode, I will agree to a fault, but Brandon has impressed and he was on fire on Monday and had great subtle work on Friday. And that subtle work made it all the better. Like I believe I said when I was watching...BC has a much better grip on his character and seems to be realizing what his tics are so has started to be able to know when to turn it up and when to dial it down. And for the most part (emphasis on most), he got that. Meanwhile, TT was giving fierceness, and I was here for every minute of it. Her reading SilkPress. Her being quip about it. Her 'BE STILL.' Ooooo she had a chokehold on me as Anita gave what I was expecting her to SilkPress. WORTH THE WAIT. I also loved Vernon's CHOOSE SILENCE. I wonder though if SilkPress will figure out Martin's condition from her observing Anita and Vernon with him.   And speaking of worth it...Oooo YES Nicole vs Ted was worth totally worth it. Oooooo I knew DD would nail it, and it was all so well done. The fight between the part of Nicole who is a therapist vs Nicole as a woman who wants to express how she feels. And being so angry. And how there would be moments when it would shoot out of her. And how she would restrain herself. But how she felt she should not be restrain. Just the levels of processing and layers. And DD played it all so well. I do wish Maurice gave just a little bit more, but overall, I thought he did a good job even if it was just Ted coming across as a deadbeat and not at all redeemable. And Kat being there for her mother was so beautiful.   Minority, but I love the montage though yes, it did run a little long. Given how the Duprees like to bond (and also as I mentioned from my own very recent family experiences), it did not seem out of place to me.     That said...let's see how the aftermath worked in today's episode. Overall. Cuz RC can be hit or miss.
    • I wonder whose brilliant (

) idea it was to do an almost complete rip-off of the "who killed Tom King"-storyline. That's some quality style writing right there.....
