Perhaps they should have asked Jenny Sanford to be one of their panelists. She would be someone different and she was a big force in her husband's political career. Members bellcurve Posted December 1, 2010 Members Share Posted December 1, 2010 One of the more remarkable things about The Talk that I really enjoy is that, for probably the first time in daytime TV(unless someone has another example), there's an Asian-American leading the pack on a TV show, which is so rare these days. Yes, it's a fluffy daytime talk show, but Julie Chen isn't merely a panelist(i.e. Lisa Ling) or a supporting best friend on a daytime soap. She's the LEAD on this show.
