If somebody with some interview skills could interview Lucy Deakins about her time on the show, her movie career and then leaving show business for a legal career-- that would be really interesting imo.

I'd be fascinated by what she has to say.

I don't dislike Locher but it seems like he asks even less soap questions than usual in some of his recent interviews.

Because Alan is such a fan of "World Turns" and said he avidly tuned in during the time of the Kasnoff Brothers, it was puzzling to see that he didn't ask Alex Walters about his working relationship with Alyson Rice and the Mark/Connor/Cal triangle. That was a very hot storyline that caused plenty of controversy. In addition, the Alyson Rice/Susan Batten switch was not addressed. I would have expected those two topics to be at the forefront of the interview.

I suspect that Alex Walters requested not to discuss Alyson Rice or the storyline as a condition for his appearance on the show, for reasons unknown. (Maybe he doesn't remember specifics about his time on ATWT and didn't want to look like an idiot in the Locher Room?). It is highly unusual for Alan to refrain from discussing past storylines or the prominent actors a guest has collaborated with.
