Well, originally it was written as deliberate. Or if not deliberate, at least reckless and self-serving on Craig's part.

Yes, after she went to Switzerland in a coma, got better and returned to town, this time scheming with Craig to separate Paul and Meg. She then goes comatose again after failing to get Paul back. Then she shows up on a cooperative in some remote bumpkin-ville. She said she didn't bother telling her sister she emerged from the coma because she didn't want to be a part of her former life anymore, or some such BS. It's right around the time Carly became a drunk, and then Ro falls into bed with Craig (who is now Carly's fiancé.)

Wasn't she broke by then? Having lost Cabot Motors when she was in the second coma?

I think in '07ish, when Scott was back in the role, the story was that Craig had embezzled money from her and hadn't been paying her medical bills. I don't remember if Paul had briefly also been in a coma, but there was something about him having "heard" her trying to contact him, which is why he went to Switzerland and brought her home.

But yes, somewhere along the way, she lost her wealth and Cabot Motors.

Per AMC's Kelly Ripa on the Soapy podcast: Chris Goutman was her son's professor at NYU. Small world.

Wow - I loved the Cabot baby storyline. Then again, Cady McClain and Hunt Block are two of my favorite soap actors. Thought it was a fantastic storyline. Had me tuning in every day to find out what would happen next. I've said it before and I'll say it again, just what do people on this message board LIKE about As The World Turns. Because it seems like you all hate it - not just the Sheffer/Goutman era, but most of Doug Marland's era.

So again, what do you like about ATWT. Favorite moments. Storylines. Characters. Do you even have any? (Besides the quadruplets who were on for about 4 months.)

Another 1991 episode not yet on YouTube. Thanks to VintageNoSpintage.

Thanks! At first, I was going to say there's an episode dated 6 10 91 but that is a different episode, so someone's date was wrong.

Frankly, I doubt that that was just a coincidence.

That other 6-10-91 episode is one that I posted a few years ago. When this new video appeared, I did some research and I realized that I had been incorrect -- I was a week off. Mine aired June 17. I've made the correction now. :)

Thanks! The video I was thinking of was on the AstheWorldStillTurns channel. Kudos to you for changing your date to help avoid more confusion.
