GH: Possible Cast Cuts Looming?

I didn't understand how GH could keep hiring all these new people in the first place. I would say Matt and Maya are definitely going. BBr's contact is up in December so she will be out also.

I would guess that trash like Brook Lyn and fringe characters like Johnny (along with already mentioned Matt) would go. And Maya, who was set up to fail anyway. Scott Reeves is BFF with Steve Burton and that's likely all that matters in terms of employment.

Yep, Reeves will be saved by his friendship with Burton. They seem to love Johnny so I think he will stick around, maybe he and Olivia will be put on recurring though.

Please let it be Bradford Anderson who is getting the shaft.

Is that the actor who plays the guy that every time I've seen him I have no clue as to what he's talking about? I just looked it up, Spinelli is the character. For some reason I thought everybody loves him.

I think most people hate him. I dont know how he has lasted as long as he has. He is so annoying. He has no story and serves no purpose on the show.

The ones should go are Lisa, Matt, Maya, Tracy, Kate. Monica was taken off contract and so should Edward be. Steve and Olivia should stay.

Spinelli will stay because SB is tight with BA.

Brianna's contract is up in December? :o So soon? I thought we had her for a little while longer. I really couldn't care less about Scrubs or Patrick with out Lisa's presence.

Kate was taken off contracct like 2 years ago. She is lucky if she gets 1 episode a month. She isnt doing anything to GH's budget

I'm sure they can keep the black characters because they not making that much money to put a dent in GH budget cuts.

I'm sure they make a little more then the minimum wage.

I don't think Briana Brown was ever meant to be permanent, and her role almost demands she leave sooner or later. Nancy Lee Grahn's character is pretty useless and serve no purpose except to pop up once a month and discuss Kristina. I can see her going. Bradford Anderson I could see going also because his character hasn't had a story all year, which brings up Jason Cook. While he has no story so far, I could see him having a story in the future. I think they could keep him. Nathan Parsons I think they are going to keep. If Nancy Lee Grahn goes, the girl who plays Molly goes, and they could easily send Kristina off to school. Edward's days seem numbered, and I guess that means Tracy sooner or later as well. The girl who plays Maya I think will be a casualty. Brook Lynn is a toss up because the show can function with her or without her. Kelly Monaco hasn't really had a story in two years and it would so easy to write her out, but they could keep her just as Jason's 4 minute a week girlfriend.

They have to use her for Sonny's stories.

Do they ever write different stories?

Sonny having a daughter means they get to use her to try to justify the way he treats women.

If it's about saving money , then cut Sam&Nick , someone who' on the higher pay scale.

I see no need for Matt as well.

That being said i don't want to see anyone loose their job.
