I say bring Joey back with Greg Vaughn or Grayson (ex-dusty) in the role and he is in a loveless marriage to A Skye Chandler-Quartmaine.

I think Grayson McCough is a bit too old. He's 42 and looks his age. Actually he looks like he could be in his mid 40s. Id rather they cast someone younger like mid to late 30s. Joey will most likely be paired with Kelly and I think Id prefer someone closer to Gina's age. They deaged the character when they cast BMH but that was too extreme. I think Greg Vaughan is the perfect age for what I would like to see Joey as

The death blow to Kevin was JFP's hiring Tim Gibbs and turning him into the creep of Llanview. I think many viewers were repulsed by him and that left a taint on the character.

You speak the truth. I hated Gibbs(loved him on Another World) as Kevin. He was the worst Kevin only second to Ken Kinitzer, whom I bet no one remembers because he was bad, they fired him quickly and quietly.

It didnt help that his storyline sucked. Kevin was pretty popular with Cassie and they ruined that with the recast and having him cheat with that psycho nurse Barbera. That story did him no favors and made him even more unliked

They kept trying to make Kevin edgy because JFP thought men needed to be edgy. So that led to one story after another of Kevin acting like a man-slut and treating women like garbage. And the disgusting screwing around with women right after the latest "love of his life" (Cassie, Grace) had been mentally destroyed or had died a horrible death.

As for Grayson -- he looks dirty and he never smiles...he's perfect for OLTL.

That was that bloody Jill Faren Phelps replacing actors with her friends or hiring her friends. She did it while she EP'ed Another World and she did it on OLTL.

I have to admit I'm shocked they're actually bothering to recast. I'm happy, but shocked.

And why the hell can't they bring Dan Gauthier back as Kevin? Why does the show dislike him so much? He's VERY popular!

Todd, John, Rex.

My #1 Choice for a recast of Joey Buchanan would be Carl T. Evans (Ex-Alan Michael;GL, Ex-Nick Scudder, ATWT).

Some soap should snap him up. I don't know what he's doing now but he had not aged a day when he was on ATWT in 2002. He was just an unbelievably beautiful man.

Anyone but Don Jeffcoat! Or the one who played the very effeminate Joey who also happened to be a priest (and posed nude with his twin brother in real life) God he was horrific.

Chris McKenna has become QUITE cute! He will do just fine.
