Awesome! I was so not looking forward to waiting until next summer to find out what happens. I am hoping for a Christopher recast though, JM is not even trying.

And Dallas is still pretty much tops in the cable ratings for new airings, so while we may not see the numbers as good, TNT clearly does and I can understand why. It's a brand, buzzed-about name and if it does ok in THEIR target demo, which I think it was people forget about the ratings. Isn't it 25-54 that they worry about the most, although, of course, I'd personally feel a bit better if the actual demo were higher but I'm not surprised it skews old. Still, for cable numbers, Dallas is hardly a loser.

I enjoyed this week's episode as well. Rebecca's conversation with Tommy indicated to me that this was initially her scam, and she brought him into it, which reinforces for me the idea that she's connected with Cliff Barnes somehow.

My thought for the day: Do you think Cliff Barnes is secretly behind the Venezuelans and used them to try to get Southfork and the oil under it?

During the whole episode I kept thinking Rebecca might be Katherine's daughter since she was the one that started the whole scam.

Just saw it....the best episode by far. I hope Tommy isnt dead.

I bet it's Rebecca and she lives, but loses the babies. The way the blood spattered of the twin monkeys didn't seem like a good sign to me.

For a show that got such heavy promotion, they probably expected more than "does OK" and "hardly a loser."

Yeah, there's no way they're happy with the ratings. I expect some changes with season two and they'll probably launch it differently.

My gut tells me that JM won"t be recast, no matter how awful he (or anyone else) is. He'd have to quit, or his character killed off. I think that they're happy "enough" with him and the others.

My only wish is that while Ann is out offering to Harris snatch that only Bobby is stupid enough to want on a permanent basis, the person walking off that plane is escorting Pamela back to Dallas. I can't imagine what male character we have not seen would be that important that we need to see him walking off of a plane in the preview. Please let it be Pam walking behind him!

My guess is that the Venezuelans come to claim Southfork on behalf of THEIR boss, who happens to be Cliff Barnes. And the season ends with Cliff owning Southfork.
