Glad to see the nice bump in Total Viewers and HHs for ATWT.:) I thought last week was rather slow until midweek. This week has been more entertaining than last week.

(GH)Viewers only tuned in for Wednesday's(Brenda's first day) show and then left on Thurs and Fri.

ATWT only 100,000 viewers away from GH at third. Nice to see it still beating and challenging the other soaps.

Her first episode was the highest of the week so that is a small victory for ABC.

I just saw OLTL's daily ratings. I predict that the Usual Suspects will engage in the weekly AMC/OLTL cancellation war. Prove me wrong, folks.

To think they were blaming their ratings woes on gay characters.

Looking back, the best thing about VM's return last time was Robin Christopher as Skye. What a tour-de-force performance that was. And what a character Skye was at the time, the most complex character on the show--and the most rootable.

Then Brenda left, and Skye disappeared for months, only to be resurrected in that awful de-Qing/Ned/BabyKristina/Alexis/Dobson fiasco.

No surprise GH is not getting ratings for her this go-round.

And so it begins. LOL!

And AMC fans will say OLTL is the lowest rated soap in viewers...lol.

Absolutely right. You just did.

Imagine if someone running ATWT had made an effort for most of 2007, 2008 or 2009. CBS would probably still be canceling it, since they are clearly tired of soaps, but it might be outrating a number of other shows and the articles would not be as easy to write about the show's demise.

I wouldn't be surprised if the ratings didn't increase. I've grown apathetic about "big returns". I tuned in to GH one day last week, took a second of a peek. Yep, that was Brenda alright. And with my curiosity satisfied I changed the channel and haven't tuned in since. I don't think I'm alone. I don't think people care anymore. Maybe ten years ago, but not now.

I think this is exactly what happened, and I also if the repeats reminded viewers too much of how great the show once was and what a joke it's become.

S&B reunion, Guza will eff that up too and Brenda will be trashed like all Guza's pets are eventually

Something like that. LOL! Eh, the OLTL/AMC cancellation war is entertaining if nothing else.

I think us AMC and OLTL fans should join together this week and bash the ratings for Brendas return since we had to miss a day of our soap to pimp the return of Brenda which didnt do anything for their ratings. :)

I just saw that ATWT finished 3rd on Thursday. I love it!! I hope the Talk crashes and burns......:)

Rux I think it will, it's just a View rip off

I don't know why they're dragging out the Rome scenes with Brenda. It reminds me of what AMC did in 2006 with Dixie's return when they had her lurking behind bushes and spying on her family for months on end

I love that the AMC and OLTL viewers basically got the last laugh in this LOL

LOL, I agree.

I am disappointed at OLTL ratings last week. I thought the show was decent. The thing with OLTL is, it goes up and down. I'm guessing next week they'll go up again. We'll see.

Speaking of The View, has anyone seen the promo for the new season with the woman talking about being mothers? LMAOO ABC is seriously threatened by The Talk. (what a dumb name)
