All of the other actresses - including Rebecca Herbst - were better and actually deserved the win. When they showed Tony Geary's reaction he couldn't quite cover the contempt on his face fast enough (a particular pleasure of mine).

Some of these actresses/characters are so lauded in the press that the sheeple believe they are the GREATS of daytime. They aren't. And then the writing is blamed for their failures and no one is willing to stand up and say... "nope, they just really suck without the right kind of support around them".

bellcurve, you may already know this, but it looks like Lisa Lo has booked a guest role in Bones.

While I could never speak an ill word of Genie Francis (the supportive acting trophy was a joke because Genie is best actress if nothing else), this recent tribute to Brenda/Vanessa showed me just how overrated the character really was/is. She can get the job done, and of course, I have seen a helluva lot worse, but she is just nothing to write home about, especially for those of us who enjoy power actors.

This goes double for Alicia Minshew because she is marginal at best, and her return is highly anticipated? Daytime has gone to the dogs! Tell me Victoria Wyndham or Linda Dano is returning to daytime, and I will do cartwheels on the Chicago outer drive!

Robin Christopher DESERVED that Emmy in 2003. She was the best of the nominees that year. She's so underrated, and it's sad, because she is one of the strongest actresses in Daytime. Even when GH decided they didn't give a Sh*t about Skye, Robin took EVERY bit of material they gave her and gave it her best. It's a shame she was so underused.

Can someone do me a favor and post whether or not Marcil is in the opening, where her position is, and the new ordering, if possible?
