Who's been saying it? Uh yeh ME!

I've been saying that for David/Liza it would be perfect, b/c DaLee had absolutely no sexual NOTHING! it was all masked w/ ppl wanting her away from Ryan. The perfect SL is David's true love turns out to be Liza, b/c like him she's an outsider w/ no real family other than her daughter. Even before Colby she was always an outsider, her having anything w/ Tad is BS, a WTD SL for David/Liza/Tad and this bb being 100% Hayward would be awesome, whether David has a swan song SL or not.

Yeah, but you can't have your "villainy" too concentrated in one area. One or the other would have to soften unless it was just J.R./Kendall friends with benefits. Apart, they can show softer sides of their personalities yet still be schemers on different sides of town. Just my off the cuff take on it.

Not one bit. I've seen Snorissa, Randi has a backbone, just look at how her and Frankie got together. The set up here is she's gonna kick Madison's ass, slap her or something, that girl has been ruining her life, lets not forget the reason she has no kid w/ Frankie is b/c of her.

It just seems very up in the air right now, it looks like Frankie and Madison are, as you all say, endgame. Randi has no other apparaent romantic prospects, just the prospect of her career... off-screen. Yet I don't feel strongly that she'll be written out. I guess they're just gearing up for her maternity leave/yet another trip for Randi (when Frankie and Madison will finally cross a serious line), but once she comes back, it's like, okay now what? Maybe she'll have met some new dude in Paris or something.

Because she's from 'the streets'.

Now that's funny!

Randi lost her baby because of what she did, her lies to Frankie, and became stressed because of the guilt. Madison didn't kill her baby.

I disagree. They go out, do their misdeeds and come together and show their softer sides with each other. If it works for everyone else who perform various misdeeds, it could work for the "evil" ones. The only difference between, say, a Jesse/Tad and a David/Liza is David and Liza don't have people to come home to that say, "yeah, you may torture, murder, wheel dead public officials over cliffs in their cars, but you're a really good person."

You're right, I could see that too. And it could be really fun having a "Power Couple" like that, talk about "Me and you against the world."

I am SO late to the party, I did not know that DV and Russell Simmons had a thing.

    • I assume in name only?  One Stormy Night wasn't exactly steamy.  If it's a literal throwback then Stephanie's writing about sexy times her own Uncle was having lol. Since I am going to surmise it's just a throwback to the name, Night Sins and Winter Heat both sound sexier.  Just saying.  I swear Jamey (and Ron) just google things and land on the first thing they like and decide it's a good throwback to history without watching it.
    • I usually don't want Tide placement in the middle of an intense sad scene, but this is an interesting point

    • Thanks!   Was anyone watching during this time? Wondering how Peggy’s rape played out onscreen. It just seems cruel to subject the Brooks family to this trauma a 2nd time.   Feels like the writers have already given up on the character of Jennifer, even though she sticks around another year-plus. She should be a passionate and fierce protective mother, but instead she seems just reactionary (and not even mentioned in this recap) This was also the case in ‘73 when Chris was raped. The writers are definitely more invested Stuart as the Brooks parent.
    • BTG got another SNL reference at 00:50  CONTEXT (so it isn't misconstrued) in this joke swap segment, Michael Che frequently makes his white cohost Colin Jost read racist jokes written by Che.

    • It's obvious that Israel's presence is a major divisive issue, and this is something that the EBU needs to deal with. According to the now published results Israel got 13 out of a possible 19 max points in the semi-final, and while their song isn't bad there's no way they would get those numbers without some kind of manipulation/political voting. They are clearly using this contest as a way of improving their somewhat tarnished reputation. I know that some people are comparing this to the massive sympathy votes that Ukraine gets and which propelled them to victory in 2022, but I feel that that was a more genuine show of support than this concerted effort from Israel to influence the televoting. I even had an ad on Youtube from Israel in Swedish(!) asking for votes! It might not be against any rules, but it feels a bit icky nonetheless.
    • Yeah, as you wrote, an Israeli win would have been a political disaster. Congratulations to Austria. 0 points from the televoting to Switzerland was a disgrace. Other than that, I really enjoyed the show ... but I'm also glad that Eurovision season is over

    • Hahaha Sorry if I was too negative, I just started typing and typing once I got going hahaha
    • @dc11786 Thanks for taking time to answer my various questions, along with giving your thoughts on the different writing teams. I wonder why they didn't just have Ryder and TR leave together if Jane was going anyway. The discussions over the last few pages have made me more interested in watching these episodes than I have been over the years - without the extra details and analyses provided, these years can be difficult to decipher (not helped by how often Jo seems like a side character).
