July 23, 201015 yr Member HH 1. Y&R 3.4 (-.1) 2. B&B 2.2 (same) 3. DOOL 1.8 (same) <-- ties low rating 3. AMC 1.8 (same) 3. GH 1.8 (-.1) 6. OLTL 1.7 (-.1) 7. ATWT 1.6 (-1) Gratitude and tributes should be directed to the lovely Lskreet. Thanks but what did CBS lose? The older viewers? According to ABC Press release, Y&R and B&B were up +.1 in W18-49 demo.
July 23, 201015 yr Member Looks like everyone had a bad week. I look at this week as a correction. I figure last week's bumps were due to the holiday.

July 23, 201015 yr Member I thought DAYS had gone lower than 1.8 before, I guess I have become accustomed to lower because of the P&G and ABC soaps ratings.

How low did they hit back then? 3.2?

July 23, 201015 yr Member Yeah, but they also had airtime the previous week and the show was up in HHs and 18-49's. These week-to-week fluctuations are totally random and really don't mean much IMO. You can't just how well a show is doing ratings-wise on a week-by-week basis. You have to look at patterns over the course of a few months. The show that's really trended down over the past few months has been Days. They've dropped pretty precipitously since early spring. And the first week of sweeps they had a rating of 1.6. A true all time low. Hardly any vets on at all that week
July 23, 201015 yr Member Dena needs to go and that other guy needs to write the show or the one who's writing the books? can't remember her name...and they need to invest in the lighting of the show. im talking about Days of Our Lives...at this point id rather have Tom Langon writing this show than Dena.
July 23, 201015 yr Member I must say these ratings are confusing. OLTL is last in total viewers but not in HHs.
July 23, 201015 yr Member AMC is basically holding steady. I want more for them but considering it's summer and there's no Erica Kane on screen, I'll just have to keep the faith. Edited July 23, 201015 yr by marceline
