Aw, poor Nicole finding the sonogram.

That was a nice part also, I'm glad they put that in there amongst Nicole snooping around EJ's room. It was touching..

Yeah her finding that songoram was sad. It also says something about EJ, he still has feelings for Nicole and that baby even if he doesn't want to admit it.

Good lord. Did you guys see Sami when she saw that scratch on Will's face? She damn near attcked him herself.

LOVED Vivian saying Chloe had big breasts and no backbone, because when it comes to this incarnation of Chloe, it is SO. TRUE.:lol::lol:

Yes! I understand how shocked she was to see Will like that, but dang. Calm down. She leaped towards him, and that was kind of embarrassing to do with a girl she knows he's interested in around! But I understood why she did that, haha.

Ugh, what are the writers doing to Caroline? Actually, I know exactly what they're doing - destroying her to make Maggie/Victor "look good." Screw this shit.

I couldn't help but think Nicole was so sexy in her scenes with EJ - the way she told EJ that she knew the truth. Great scenes with those two.

Agreed, they just ooze chemistry in these type of scenes. I want them to have hate sex. ^_^

I absolutely loved the Maggie vs. Caroline scenes today.

Melanie is so damn childish, bouncing around and all giggly about the baby. Calm the f.uck down!

Actually, Victor was on the show when Mickey and Maggie were still fairly relevant. Victor came to the show in 1984 or 1985. Mickey&Maggie got back burnered in mid-91 when Maggie's affair with Neil abruptly ended and Sarah and Melissa abruptly left town. This was at a pivotal time in the show--Bo&Carly were heating up big time (and finally winning acceptance after being pushed way too quickly after Hope's death), Jack and Jen had just gotten married, Shane/Kayla was the ingenious idea of the day and (most importantly) RealRoman and Marlena had just returned.

Maggie and Bill would appall me on countless levels. Actually, I think Bill should have been killed off years ago. I haven't watched in awhile, but I'm guessing that Mike's relationship to Mickey wasn't referenced, not even when Mickey died. The decision to stop treating Mickey as Bill's son came very late, under Reilly. Mike learned his paternity in 1975. He considered Mickey his father as late as 1990 when Michael T Weiss left the show. That's 15 years, real time, god knows how long, Salem time. But Mike always called Mickey dad and had a strained relationship with Bill, who he barely liked. And Melissa and Mike always treated each other, and identified one another, as brother and sister. (Including during a major story involving Melissa and Jack).

The show kind of toyed with a Maggie/Victor type relationship in 1990, when Victor and Julie had a flirtation. She and Doug were separated at the time. Ultimately, he chose Carly over her. I'm not sure if it is acknowledged today, but Victor was obsessed with Carly (with absolutely no encouragement on her part) and even tried to kill Bo when she chose him over her.

Steve

Great Summary! I remember all of this. Reading this make me wanna take out my days history book.

Friday's episode was awesome!! Loved how EJ's facial expression changed the second Nicole told him that she was in the DiMera Mansion the whole time. EJ looked scared chitless, LOL!!! Fab scenes between those two. I am looking forward to Monday's ep, love when someone has the upper hand on EJ.

Caroline!! OMG! She is such a little liar. Telling Maggie that she's worried about her being around Victor because of the type of person he is, rolleyes.gif biotch no, you are just mad cause Maggie has his attention and you don't!! LOL, as much as I hate how Caroline is acting, I did enjoy the scenes and it's nice to see these particular Actor's in a story like this! I find it refreshing. I do hope that Caroline gets a clue soon. Victor clearly does not want her.

Loved how Philip found out that Chloe was pregnant. That baby is so his smile.gif Carly's ultimatum to Chloe is awesome: She'll stay silent if Chloe gets a paternity test on the baby and it proves that it's Daniels.

Are you kidding me?

This IS Caroline. She is a typical brady. Judgmental, irrational, doesnt want a person until someone else is involved. She has always been a hot tempered, judgemntal, shrew. Even when her affair with Vic came out she still maintained being morally higher to everyone else. She had her chance with victor and is pissed now that he has moved on and obviously likes Maggie.

They also do not need her to make them look good, since they have a lot of story outside of her to make them look good. (In fact i think it is GREAT that the show is playing up Caroline in this story, they have to! I was worried they were going to overlook her). Regaurdless of that they still dont need it because they are good, intersting, and new.

That's exactly how I see it. Caroline has never been some unimpeachable force of goodness and light. She's a good person, yeah, but that doesn't exempt her from jealousy. Also, when she was tromping around on that damn island for six months or a year or whatever, she was always attached to Victor at the hip. She's a flawed woman, which I personally find interesting -- and I love that performers of this age are actually getting this material! It's not like they had Caroline smash dog poop in Maggie's hair and set it on fire. She's hurting and she's taking it out on these people she cares about.

Honestly, and I know I'm in the minority here and will probably get a lot of opposition, I think this show is fantastic. Is it perfect? No way. Does the lighting suck? Of course. But it's just... I want to watch every day. I haven't felt like that (minus the climaxes of big stories) since probably the spring of 2002, or maybe the SSK for trainwreck value. It's just good, solid soap. Friday's episode was terrific, even in light of Nadia Bjorlin's, um, "stiff" acting. If all the soaps were like this, though, they wouldn't be dropping left and right. It's just meat-and-potatoes soap opera, and it makes me want to watch.

When EJ grabbed that tape recorder out of Nicole's hands and crushed it, my heart SANK. I literally was like, "NOOOOOO!!!". I am SO glad she said she made copies! The expression on EJ's face as Nicole was replaying the tape was priceless....loved it. James Scott does that really well. Again, I love when EJ is at a desperate point like that, and someone has turned the tables on him. More awesome scenes between those two today. This is one of those secrets that I think should be revealed at a big event, with lots of people around.

Loved Philip telling Chloe that if he is the father, he will step up and be a dad! Phloe wub.gif

Theres a DAYS Website that's posting their "100 Greatest Days of Our Lives Characters". It's a pretty detailed, well planned out list. It was nice to refresh my memory on some people who are no longer on the show anymore. And then there are people on there who I don't know who the heck they are, but after reading the brief synopsis on them, I wish I did, LOL.

They have posted the top 70 so far. If anyone is interested, you can click here to see. It's a pretty good list so far. I would change some characters around though. IMO Rafe is not a greater character than Nick Fallon or Patrick Lockhart.
