I am so ecstatic that Brendon won PoV and got to stay! And I am just over the MOON that Matt is up on the block! Hope each and every one of them votes his arse out. He shouldn't have thrown the competition, and he shouldn't have betrayed his best ally!

Hayden is selfish! He got 5k and that Hawaiian vacation and got away with it! Wonder if it'll come back to bite him....

I admire Brendon so much for fighting so hard to stay in the game! He accepted all of those punishments just to stay in the house, I truly hope he wins now. He deserves it the most, IMO.

I agree with you Toups, why didn't Brendon & Britney discuss strategy while they were hand cuffed together??

Omg what a giant, pathetic meathead that guy was, poor Britney having to go through that. He must have been annoying on his season, I remember seeing clips of him on The Soup.

Forgot it was a double elimination tomorrow, ohmy.gif how does that work?? I think Matt will go for sure, but who else?? I hope Brendon or Britney doesn't go sad.gif I'll be fine with anyone else leaving.

Not only did we endure ONE season of Jesse, we had to sit through TWO seasons of Jesse.

Basically, it's a whole week's worth of competitions in one night. After they evict Matt, they'll play for HOH, POV, and then someone else will go home.

If Matt was smart, when he found out that Britney was considering him to put on the black, he should've exposed the brigade. Get Lane, Britney, Ragan in the HOH room and say, "Ever since the first week, Lane and I have been part of an alliance with Hayden and Enzo - we called ourselves the Brigade. Now, we have a chance to make it to the final 4 if we stick together." That's one option. The other option is he could've called a house meeting and expose the Brigade like that. And Matt can say, "If you choose to keep Enzo in the house, they will be the strongest alliance. Britney, Ragan, Brendon, you guys will be by yourself while Enzo, Hayden, Lane are together."

Why, why, WHY did they have to bring Jesse back? Geesh. Of all the great players they bring back one of the biggest morons ever. Now that really was a bad thing to be released out of the Pandora's box.

I seriously dislike EVERY single housemate. They are all terrible. You know something is wrong when Britney and Brendon seem the most likable, and they're both idiots.

Oh Matt, I thought you were such a smart player but not after yesterday.

You know that you're the 4th player in the brigade, why didn't you expose them last night to Britney.

Why didn't you mention to Britney that you didn't win any prizes (Hayden did)

I'm so mad that Hayden is not on the block.

To save his ass, Matt will have to work really hard tonight.

He has to expose the brigade and form an alliance with Ragan, Britney and Brendon

Yes! My pretty southern girl, Britney, is safe for another week!

Matt was so stupid by not exposing the Brigade.

And I'm glad someone finally found out about them.

Enzo has got to go. He is the worst competitor on the show.

Glad the Brigade was found out about by Ragan, I hope he acts on it and raises some hell. If he wins HoH, I want him to put Hayden and Enzo up. If Britney wins HoH, I hope Ragan tells her about the Brigade and she does the same. I do see her being a little mad at Lane and possibly putting him up, if she finds out he's been in alliance this whole time...if any of the Brigade members win HoH, I see them putting up Britney and Ragan. Even if Lane wins.

I am so mad Brendon went home, he played such a good game and fought so hard...I hope Britney takes it home this season now. She is the only one who truly deserves it now, IMO.

Just wanted to say STFU to Enzo. WTH was he talking about after that HoH competition?? You couldn't find any of the names, really?? Freaking dumb! So many excuses from him, I will be disgusted if he wins!

Ragan needs to leave this week. He can NOT win this game. Im sick of seeing his revoltign face on my screen. The Brigade needs to win HoH, preferably Lane, since he's my favorite. I really want Lane to win this thing with, Britney and Hayden coming in next. I dont think Enzo should win bc he's been such a pathetic player but Id take him over Ragan

Aw man, by Lane putting up Britney, this gives Hayden motive to vote out Britney if she doesn't win veto. If Enzo wins veto, he's going to vote out Britney too. It would've been better if Lane nominated Britney with Ragan, and Ragan goes this week. Hayden/Enzo cannot win veto this week! :(

    • John loved Sami unconditionally and forever
    • On May 27, Johnny spoke to Sami on the phone, and learned that Sami and Sydney were trying to fly in from Sicily, but were stopped by a volcanic eruption because the ash had grounded all the planes. As discussed on the May thread, ash from Mt. Etna in Sicily caused planes to be grounded in summer 2024, so Cwikly/Ford would have known that.  (I just learned that Mt. Etna has been considered "active" with intermittent activity since 2022.) Friday May 30, Will said that Sami and Sydney found another flight and will be here soon. Well, Sami and Sydney got out just in time, because … There was (and still is ongoing) a huge eruption of Mt. Etna that began very early Monday morning June 2 Italy time (which would be Sunday night June 1st Chicago time) and a volcanic ash plume had reached an altitude of around 6,400 metres (around 3 or 4 miles high) https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/europe/mount-etna-eruption-volcano-smoke-lava-live-updates-b2761911.html
    • Agree to disagree. Like first, love second. OH, agree, agree, agree! Legendary Featherstone, you're not dressing this one well at all. Petite woman with ample bosom, wrong clothes = awful  matronly looking ugh. I'm sorry but I felt hit over the head with everything each of them thought & felt for about 6 more days than I felt I had signed on for.  I don't know you well enough to know if you will know when I'm teasing, so I've just warned you that I am when I say, I hate for you that you haven't actually met Danielle before. LOL. To me it was just a natural take.  I have no problem going back & forth between those two focal sites. But, I am certainly aware that early on I had an expectation of being really into their having 27 sets & that has definitely not been the realization. And, yes, for now, Frank is still heads above any & all others with us & sets IMO.  Huh? Guza gone. I have it in my head that he was only willing to come out of retirement (and presumed mourning) for a "certain amount of time" to help get this new creature launched, but had no desire to stay & so was one of the "over-staffed intentionally" that we were told about. Of course there's been no official word on the circumstances of his leaving.  But, you might mean go with Guza as in a style, if so, ignore the last para.

    • I'm so pleased we have such fan engagement about Dani. Reminds me of some other soap characters. I think it's because they are "polarizers" which is a word I may have just made up. They are polarizing on their shows to other characters & to story & they are polarizing in the audience as fans seem to have extreme reactions to them, love & hate, not middling neutrality, ya know? Well, it's a theory.  To me the human being you seek has been amply shown especially to two people & both more or less recently. Her sister bond with Nicole, whoa, has knocked me back & blown me away. And, with Chelsea, over her budding sexual identity and awareness. She gathered instantly that something was up with that daughter & was laser focused on her for several scenes. Then, for a third, she & Pamela have finally, also recently, been so real & genuine & authentic.
    • Thanks, Paul, I did not know about his interest in the comedic elements or that he was one of our many people who came from the network! I have always liked Marlena de la Croix's writing, which is not to say I 100% agree with her. She's been a member of my FB soap group for a good long time & she actually posts, which I love. Recently I posted about an e-copy of Robert LaGuardia's SOAP WORLD that is free to borrow like a library e-book but on the Internet Archive site & I posted that at the time of their publications, all of his soap opera books were the gold standard.  She immediately posted about "Bob" who was her close friend & how much she still misses him to this day & that he loved to talk soaps & was also a nice guy, etc. which I was over the moon to have her share about the author & his time etc. like that!!!
    • Just more RTD ego trips, seemingly his main reason for coming back.
    • Thanks @Paul Raven  That's a lovely writeup. Do fans feel it was warranted?
    • So I was reminded that we're now meant to be celebrating PRIDE by this amazing post:

I really wonder why they chose to write this whole ‘John is getting better’ part of the storyline, especially since we all knew what was really going to happen. And I hope we find out the answer someday. But as tough and as tearjerking as today was, it was also really beautiful. And the acting, even though a lot of it if not all of it was real, was spectacular. The flashbacks were beautiful too. I honestly can’t even describe how much I enjoyed today.  Having so many of John and Marlena’s scenes be focused on the two of them and their love story was the right decision. It was a fitting end to John and Marlena. And I’m also glad that John and Steve got to have one last goodbye after everything that happened. As for Bo and Hope and their family, I did think that some parts were a little unnecessary but I really enjoyed Bo’s dream and his reunion with Zack. The acting playing Zack actually did a pretty good job too. Everybody encouraging Bo to fight was really the right decision in this storyline as well.  As for the final minutes of today, be prepared. I actually have tears running down my cheeks as I write this.
