June 14, 201015 yr Member Erica and Jeff martin (John James). Yeah, that was SICK. Not just because the two had no chemistry, but because of what the meaning and storyline behind their hookup was. Good thing Megan got canned before she got to marry them.
June 14, 201015 yr Member Thats it? I expecting more from that article and there are tons of other bad and worst pairings in soaps Haha, Im surprised no one said Emily and Sonny from GH. I liked them but I know they disgusted many. Also on GH, Ric and Sam Edited June 14, 201015 yr by Cheap21
June 14, 201015 yr Member Devon/Trya- She was his Aunt! Sabrina/Victor- She was his daughter's best friend! Now that we know, Vincent and Julian and Chad and Vincent- Vincent was related to them! Johnathan and Tammy- She was his cousin!
June 14, 201015 yr Member That only counts Bergman, yeah? Yep. Terry Lester & anyone is the exact opposite.
June 15, 201015 yr Member On Days, Max Brady and his nieces, Chelsea and Stephanie. I know Max was adopted, but still...ewwwww.
June 15, 201015 yr Member Sonny and Emily, GH. Adam and Annie, AMC Sonny and Anyone, GH. Kate and Coleman, GH Lulu and Dillon, GH. June 15, 201015 yr Member Terry Lester & anyone is the exact opposite. And that Newsweek columnist says gay men can't "play straight" convincingly? Yeah, right! In a way, it never mattered who you paired Terry Lester's Jack with; like AMC's David Canary (ex-Adam/Stuart), TL had the chops and the sex appeal to sell it. (I'm not kidding. You could've hooked him up with Eileen Davidson's Ashley, his own on-screen sister, and housewives still would've ate that [!@#$%^&*] up!) God bless Papa Bell, but he was foolish to let him leave. Did I say "foolish"? I meant country-dumb.

Did I say "foolish"? I meant country-dumb. The thing that often gets overlooked about Terry Lester was how easy he made it. He didn't need continuous propping like Miller or complete retcons & rewrites like Bergman to make the character work. All he had to do was ACT & the thing was he literally had chemistry with EVERYTHING. There wasn't an actor on Y&R he didn't have chemistry with.
June 15, 201015 yr Member Let's put it this way: if Terry Lester were alive and playing Jack today, I'd actually give a damn about the never-ending vendetta between him and Victor.

He was just as great on ATWT as Neal and Lucinda's brother. His breakdown during Neal's murder trail was outstanding.
June 15, 201015 yr Member A huge part of the problem is TPTB's inability to write FOR The Abbotts (amongst others) seperate from The Newmans.
June 15, 201015 yr Member He was just as great on ATWT as Neal and Lucinda's brother. His breakdown during Neal's murder trail was outstanding. Yes. It. Was. In fact, everyone in that storyline -- Lester, Elizabeth Hubbard (Lucinda), Mary Kay Adams (Neal), even Richard Bekins (Michael, Neal's ex-husband) -- gave fantastic performances. Douglas Marland knew how to write for actors. Seriously, we need to stop this before it turns into the "Official Terry Lester Appreciation Thread." Edited June 15, 201015 yr by Khan
