Another Franco To Join GH?

Will Franco's mom keep him in line? When James Franco brings twisted artist Franco back to GENERAL HOSPITAL this summer, might his real-life mother, Betsy, join him? According to our pals at Daytime Confidential, the actor wants his mother to play the reel-life role of Franco's mom. What are the chances of the casting actually happening? When asked for comment, a GH rep responded with a sly "Maybe." As previously reported, the Milk star returns to GH on Wednesday, June 30, when the bad-boy performance artist arrives back in Port Charles — to continue his obsessive vendetta against Jason — just in time to kick off the soap's summer story. But GH won't be the only place where Franco can be seen this summer: In August, he'll star opposite Julia Roberts in Eat, Pray, Love, the film adaptation of the best-selling book by the same name.

BREAKING NEWS

Franco's mommy roles into town, pissed off at her son, whom she can't stand. She murders him in his sleep, and a big WHO KILLED FRANCO story ensues. Eventually it is revealed that it was Franco's own mommy who killed him.

Just as you think the plot is as thick as it's gonna get, we find out thatt Franco mama is actually SHEILA CARTER who had surgery to look like Franco's mama to kill Franco because (SHOCKER!) Franco and Sheila's long lost beloved Ryder had a SECRET LOVE AFFAIR many years ago, and Franco broke his little heart!

Just as Sheila prepares to leave town, LAUREN FENMORE shows up to kick her ass for the last time...However, we later find out it's actually Sheila's long lost sister FARAH PYTHE, who is jealous of Sheila's life, and that she just has surgery too look like Lauren to torture Sheila.

Then a superstar brunette with an affection for prince and a trampstamp roles in to town to defend Sonny, whom FARAH AND SHEILA are trying to destroy. This unidentified bombshell blast from the past (with the tramp stamp!),is able to save sonny so Farah and Sheila set their sites on LUKE. JUST THEN, A LAURA LOOKALIKE roles in to town and teams up with luke, and drives sheila and farah out of town. JUST THEN Laura sweeps back into town and bludgeons her lookalike with a candle stick!! (though we are told later it was ACTUALLY scotty baldwin!

I never got or understood Megan Ward's appeal. I've always thought she was a big ham and that she had no chemistry with any of her scene partners. Couple that with her being another generic primetime blonde with marginally good looks and a bunch of failed pilots and one season wonder series, it's no wonder why the poor thing was dropped to recurring.

Im amused that her fan event at GHFCW was the first to sell out.

Meet Franco's Mom!

When James Franco brings twisted artist Franco back to GENERAL HOSPITAL this summer, his real-life mother will join him! As previously reported, the Milk star returns to GH on Wednesday, June 30, and now a rep for the soap confirms that Betsy Franco will begin a short-term role on Friday, July 2, when Spinelli tracks down the eccentric, murder-obsessed artist's mom. Could a brief cameo by brother Dave Franco of SCRUBS fame be next?!?

I was like WTH when i read that his mom might join the show, but after seeing a video of her on funnyordie.com a couple days ago, she is so funny!! I don't think i will mind her on GH, LoL. I think her and Spinelli will be fun together.
