Members Jonathan
How was it? I'm 3 episodes behind. Anything that stuck out?
Members Cheap21
Annie was hilarious! She's about to get mugged and she says to the punk "Oh you got to be kidding me? Do you know any idea what kind of friggin day I already had?" Before that she and Ryan had a good scene at the casino. Actually seems like they civil and be all fighting Tad is an ass. I wanted Liza to rip him to shreds. BTW, I have the Wendy Williams clip. Today Cameron Mathison gave a backstage tour of the new CA sets. Rebecca Budig and Melissa Claire Egan also appeared. Towards the end Wendy has a live interview with Susan Lucci and she gives her a "how you doin" LOL. Members reallyhateskateonlost
The show was a mess today...Ryan helping Annie...Thanks New Writers!!
Members LeClerc
I really hope Kreizman doesn't start having characters jump across town between scenes (or even go from locale A to locale B without even cutting away!) like he did at ATWT. One second Madison was leaving the yacht club and then a minute later she was sitting at the desks at Fusion in mid-conversation with Randi. Members Cheap21
yea that confused me. I was like WTF? It was as if they picked up right where they left off the other day
Members Jonathan
OMG, who produces that show?! That was the fakest talk-back ever! That La Lucci interview was not done via satellite, that was totally fake.
Members Steve
I thought it was a strong start so far, but you can't judge a headwriting team on 1 episode. Let's see how we feel 6 months from now. The standouts were David & Greenlee's discussion about whether to have children, Liza admitting to JR that Adam hasn't mentioned him and of course Annie getting thrown out of the mansion by court order. Tad calling out Liza on her plots to get rid of Damon was great, too. There was a lot of great character interaction. When was the last time Annie & Ryan were civil to each other? Members Cheap21
LOL..Wendy doesnt have the highest budget and she has no problem saying. it. She tells how much each picture and video clip costs to air on her show. When she cant afford a clip, she will pull a note out of her wig and reenact the scene using the voice of the other person...lol. She's a HOT mess and doesnt pretend to be anything else. This was her earlier in the show when she was reading abut the Emmy noms
Members R Sinclair
The only thing that stuck out was "written by David Kreizman Donna Swajeski" Things don't instantly change.
Members MichaelGL
I liked the character of Ryan today for the first time since I've started watching, and I laughed out loud at Annie's comment during her mugging. Other than that, D&D's first episode featured Marissa(pretty heavily I might say) well if that doesn't instill me with hope and optimism then I don't know what will. Members EricMontreal22
That Susan interview didn't seem remotely live to me--anyone else think her bits were pre taped?
Members Khan
Wendy Williams: "So, Looch, how come you keep playing La Kane as this coquettish fifteen-year-old when it's clear as the plastic on your face that you're pushing 70?" (Pause.) SL (via satellite): "Oh, thank you, Wendy, what a generous thing to say, I'm so touched that you enjoy my work." No, that didn't actually happen...but just imagine if it had? If, like, Wendy chose to screw around a bit and ask questions that weren't the same ones SL was asked in the pre-taped portion.
Members alwaysAMC
Wow - I've really been enjoying Ryan lately... he hasn't been this tolerable/likeable in years! He was even civil to Annie and wanted to help her out! Loved how Liza keeps trying to get Damon out of Pine Valley. Girl is DESPERATE for it. Loves it - hated Tad's reaction to it all though. What a bitch. Yeah, we won't tell much from the new writers until their stories start airing.
Members alwaysAMC
First, I also loved how Annie said that just as she realized she was getting mugged. HILARIOUS. Second, MCE seems like a trip to hang out with! Her valley-girl, yet ghetto gum talking has me loving her. Finally, Wendy is my favorite hot mess! Loved how she got Susan to do the 'how you doin'! Members SFK
That "live" Wendy interview was hilariously campy awful, just perfect... somebody in the control room pressing "Play" and "Pause" as Wendy carefully reads questions off of cue cards. It's funny but I totally remember thinking to myself back in Wendy's radio days that Susan Lucci would NEVER agree to a Wendy interview. Pre-interview off-limit questions be damned, Wendy would totally throw the plastic surgery question at her and I would just die as Susan squirmed through that. She'd be smart to do any and all Wendy interviews in this format. MCE, lose the gum!
