Coming in May to General Hospital: Adrianne Leon makes her return to Port Charles as Brook Lynn Ashton! Last we saw Brook Lynn (in 2006), she was headed back to New York (probably the borough she was named after) to work on her music career.

But now she's coming back! The question is: why? Neither of her parents, Ned and Lois, are in Port Charles. Her old circle of friends are either dead (Diego, Georgie, Sage) or out of town (Dillon). She was kind of friendly with Lulu, right? Anyway, as you can see above, it's none of those characters -- nor any of her Quartermaine relatives -- who Brook Lynn is talking to in her first pic back on the show. It's Carly.

So we put the question to you: What's the deal? What's the connection? We'll get you started with a theory: Carly hires Brook Lynn to write a song to help raise awareness of Michael being unjustly accused. ... Go!

I think that was SOAPnet's way of creating some kind of mystery around BrookLynn's return, even though we all know she's there as the spoiler for LuLu/Dante. Hopefully, Guza takes a liking to her and forces LuLu into Maxie/Spinelli hell.

She looks like she lost a scary amount of weight. For a moment, I thought it was Olivia in that picture. I can only hope that Leon and Daytime Newcomer Dominic Zamprogna get put in scenes together. If JMB could actually frown, she might be getting slightly worried right about now.

Adrianne Leon looks good. GH will waste her, of course. Lulu must win all. I agree with Carl that she is too young for Dante anyway.

That was an awesome scene. AL made Colleen such a great bitch-goddess without being a total heartless wench. Her chemistry with both Don Diamont and Beth Maitland was tangible, and the Victoria-Colleen rivalry was probably the last time Amelia Heinle looked fully present.

Y&R firing her and replacing her with that Aussie bint was, IMO, the beginning of the end -- when Y&R stopped being a show that took the concerns of its audience seriously. I will never forgive Mr. Alleged Sony Benefactor for forcing his barely-legal mistress on an unsuspecting American public!

And then MAB goes and compounds the problem. Instead of begging Adrianne to forgive Y&R for something the previous regime did and come back to the show, she keeps Lollypop Head around for ages and then kills off the character in that awful psychedelic drowning episode. EPIC FAIL.

Who knows if Dante and Brook Lynn are where GH is going... but one thing I've noticed about NewcomerDominicZamprogna is that he has chemistry with everybody. Heck, JMB was a one-woman chemistry vaccuum before he came along. Adrianne Leon, by contrast, looks like a young Sophia Loren and has the sensuality to boot. Who knows what sparks could fly?
