Michael Logan is reporting that Andrea Evans is returning to Y&R, but not in the role of Patty Williams - she's coming back as Tawny Moore, Amber's mother.

She will air only on May 12.

I was hoping she was here to take Amber away. This better be a one day thing and not a test to see if they should bring her on.

Why I have this feeling she might stay to make Y&R even more whiter. Let's hope she doesn't get paired with Paul. Then we'll defintely get confuse. Let's hope she just usher Amber out.

Hey at least they didnt completely f--k up this casting. They could have cast her as Emily's sister and throw her into that circus. Love Andrea. Looks like I will have to watch Y&R again

I am glad she's back as Tawny...trying to fit her in to the Patty/Emily story would be a nightmare. Too bad this is only a one episode deal---maybe she is returning to B&B for a longer stint.

She was always a bit too OTT for me as Tawny, although I do remember a hilarious episode where she held that awful Kimberly at gunpoint.

I'd think Rauch would want to keep her around, he loved her at OLTL and she is one of the few who can sell his crap. But she might be too old for him now.
