Taoboi, you've written me very kind messages on this thread before, but this is truly the kindest.

It's been rough dealing with entitlement, laziness, manipulation from some of the younger ones... and pressure from above to maintain work quality and meet deadlines. I saw my workload triple. I saw great colleagues leave, or become subject to fake complaints at the whim of a few ruthless newbies. I suspect you completely know how it is! It is actually making people I know consider AI (which i find troubling and worrying, because it kills critical thinking). I think smartphones ruined concentration levels and work impetus in some people. But I loved your story about meeting your former trainee. It's so great to see those you trained thriving because you helped show them the way. I've had that experience too. Perhaps he can put a good word for you at this fancy hotel for another job.

Vacation is necessary to recharge one's batteries. I hadn't really gone on one since 2019. If you can, the US has such a diversity of places to visit. Denver and Boulder, the breath-taking Rockies. Salt Lake, too. The political aspect is very stressful right now, so go where you feel comfortable. I heard San Fran was going through tough times, but if you find a nice stay somewhere, I hope you take it. A colleague just came back from Seattle and adored it. Plus if you stay in US/Canada, you can keep up with RHOM, RHOC and RHOA, Lol.

Awww I try to be my best.

I am currently in the 'everyone is leaving' phase at my job. And it would not bother me completely (some probably should have been fired ;) ), but if there has been one thing that I have grown to respect over the past year it has been my intuition. And a lot of what I'm seeing I do not like at all. Micromanagement. Manipulation...because I should have been given clearance to things ages ago...not because my supervisor decided to quit and tell no one. And even now, there has been too many hushed conversations, behind-my-back maneuvers, etc...to make me stay longer than I have to. It's great to see the growth in my work ethic as well as how resourceful I truly am...but benefits I love do not trump that unnecessary headaches that come with said benefits. :) So yeah, I do know what you mean. lol. And I'm totally not for A.I. But as a self-published author who loves genre movies...has no one not see the Terminator? Or just my love of dystopian novels/movies make me side-eye.

I wish my trainee had. But I still love that the manager went the extra mile and sent me a personal rejection letter. I'm seriously considering doing a book on how pathetic the search for a job in this job market is because I have so many tales to tell now. I miss the days where managers knew the moment they sat down for an interview if they would hire you or not. I miss the days of training someone correctly so they can do their best job and grow. These days if you can even make it to a physical interview (cuz these new batch of managers are so not Boomers or Gen X or clearly need to know what professionalism is from what I can tell), that is still no guarantee that it won't be cancel literally 15 minutes before. But the manager sent me a personable rejection letter. I found it odd because I DID get a computerized rejection letter two days before. And I had done a follow-up phone call the week before. And this was all after a horrible work day. That...I respected. I wish that more current upper management had that skill.

No wonder I need a vacation. lol. I thought about seeing my BFF around that area. I still might. It's totally a wait and see.

If all OC has to offer is them ganging up on Katie all season, they can keep it.

ALL of these women talk to bloggers. Any housewife who says they don't is lying.

It’s so funny because Emily knows she’s trashed Heather in front of her kids. That’s why she’s freaking out.

I know Katie is not perfect (by any means), but something about the way she owned her weaknesses and vulnerabilities at reunion won me over. As did her Korean adoptee backstory. All this to say I'm going into this season on Team Katie at the moment. Heather and Emily have obviously had an alliance going since last season to tag-team Katie.

Looking forward to catching up on the season opener.

And Heather knows Katie ain't lying. It's all about alliances, hence why Bravo needs to start reprimanding and firing folks who try and mess up the cast dynamic.

I have a feeling I am going to be Team Katie all season and what Shannon is teasing as "scandalous" what Katie did won't be such. It'll probably be Katie recording Shannon and catching her in a lie, and Shannon won't like it. Bet top dollar that's what it is.

Angela wanted Brit to be at this reunion. She was gonna rip her a new one! 🤣 And I guess the reason Brit didn't show up b/c her impending plot against Drew got scrapped as she learned the night before that the photos weren't hers, so she couldn't bear to be caught in yet another lie.

Emily made a list about Katie lying? Get a life! No one's even done that for Mia, Phaedra or Drew

Probably cuz it would be too easy to do...image.jpeg

OC

Tamra is on her 6th face? Her new teeth are awful and distracting.

You know what hasn't changed? The fact that she's evil and will never, ever, change or improve.

Unpopular opinion but th women are right about her. The issue isnt so much that she talked to bloggers but that she is a friggin compulsive liar that wont own her ish. Teh blogger situation is just a symptom of that. One second she never talked to them, then she did but she didnt consider them bloggers bc they are her friends and the next she's saying doesnt even know them. She is new in this friend group and its hard to be welcoming to and be vulnerable with someone you cant trust. She is being set up as the new villian for this season but I listened to Carlos King's review agree that she is the worst villian of the franchise. She's fumbling bad.

I dont like Emily but she keptt it real when she said she told her where she stood and cant be fake and show up with smiles at her event. Katie should take a page from her book nad be more strategic with how she navigates this group. The stuff Emily and Heather did at the reunion throwing her custody and past domestic situation in her face was lo and dirty. Katie has a valid reason tot be upset with them. She needs to sit in that and express bc there's a disconnect wtih how she's moving and what she presents when she is in their faces

I didn't hate the reunion. But I thought Shamea looked a pure fool. She's clicking down heavily and so is Kelli, and Angela. Angela set herself up and nobody can tell me different. She up there reciting Nene lines; you could Neva!

Shamea was barely asked any questions she could've switched seats with Kelli or Drew. It was so clear that she and Kelli came with a plan to take down Porsha and that only helped me believe the newbie Alliance Brit exposed to Porsha.

I wanna be Brit when I grow up. Skip a reunion and still remain the hot topic. Lol.

I guess I'm team Porsha and Phaedra now. Oy!

I am with @DaytimeFan where the reunion was meh.

It became painfully obvious that Porsha only beefed with Drew b/c she had nothing else to offer. I am glad that Drew nailed her a** on that, thus Porsh*t to do nothing but cop to it and apologize.

Shamea came off horribly in part 1, getting caught in numerous lies all b/c she's trying to protect Porsha.

Kelli v. Porsha came out of left field; however, kudos to Kelli for stepping to Porsha.

Andy irks my nerves trying to discredit Angela in an attempt to protect his precious Phrogrdra. Dude, just accept that this bimbo is foul and does nothing but lie and plot on people.
