Well, they filmed too much for her to NOT be seen. But hopefully, she IS back.

I know right. I've been saying the same thing. The only time Gizelle irked me was (that Pastor Holy Whore cameo) when she did the conversation about the fundraiser with the other girls around. She knew that should have been a one-on-one. Otherwise, Karen won't listen.

Same.

From Battle of the Receipts to THIS? No, ma'am.

Same, too. Her reaction to the bunk beds took me out.

I am just as shocked that Meredith has done so little so far. But no one is coming for her really which is where our soap...I mean HW heroine is usually at her best, claws out.

I never thought about that! There had just always been rumors about Mary's son being a druggie so that never even enter my mind. It also gives a whole new meaning to Production putting 'wife' next to Mary's son's gf in '' now that I think about it.

lol. It's part of the reason I try not to call her that name. I get images of Braunwyn off of OC and those crazy seasons. So when someone I like on Twitter dubbed her 'Bob (and she approved online hehe),' it just stuck for me. It's a great bob.

You spelled FriendOfHeather's name, right.   I admit that was funny AF given the tea on her. And I enjoyed every minute of her thirsty self. Well, this episode, because as much as I don't like her, I can give her this much...they were both attractive.

RHOP

And so it begins...the first cast trip.

And Score One for La Dame.

It was a given that people were going to be coming for her. Messy Mia. Jacqueline. Gizelle. Ashley. It was not a matter of who, but when. La Dame's DUI (and Mia's general messiness) have been the storyline this season. So a given. lol. But with the La Dame Grande, her Season 1 comment, continue to be true...people come for her all the time, they just don't find her.

Meanwhile, the newbies continued to do great. It wouldn't be a Housewife show or a trip without some drama over room assignments. And Mia did try to be messy. But Stacey handled it like a boss. And Jassi has been bringing it still as a FOH. Meanwhile, both stay on Ashley's neck. lol.

It was a great start to the cast trip. And then we had a cute little bombshell courtesy of a Mia ambush on La Dame having to do with a buttdial. My question is...if it ain't Ray...is it Blue Eyes? But...that's for next week.

LA DAME. Why do they keep trying you? Lol. But seriously, the only person who I felt had the right to come at all for anything was Gizelle. And that I was happy to see Gizelle...though I did not like her method of doing it...do just that. I would like to hope that La Dame took it in and listened to Gizelle and what she said. Hopefully we will see once Gizelle comes back. In any case, this episode was La Dame maneuvering and maneuvering WELL. Highlight was her destroying Jacqueline. Sorry. While La Dame is in the wrong for the DUI, she chewed the Sidekick Jacqueline up and spit her out, leaving her a crying mess. Jac is playing with the big dogs, so she needs to move accordingly. Not cry, turn tail, and run.

GIZELLE. Another good show for her. I really respect that she told Karen how she felt about the fundraiser, how she had been a good friend to her, did not like what she did. Going forward, at least, Gizelle was upfront about that. What I didn't like was that she did it in the group. I would think for this to be sincere, she did a one-on-one. With cameras of course. lol. And I liked her poking Mia a little bit with the living situation. I really feel without the Roommate anyone around, Gizelle is really having to navigate how she moves. And I feel she is doing it subtly, but she is definitely doing it.

WENDY. ''I know you two have issues, but these next two days are really about me.' LOL!! Go on then, Birthday Girl!!! lol. And other than being a good enough friend to La Dame to not badmouth her and reactions, Wendy was just there.

ASHLEY. It should say something that halfway through the episode (and after a lot of wine heehee), I forgot she was in the episode. And lord she tried. I hollered at Jassi and Keiarna ignoring her in the van as they were getting to know each other. And then...Stacey and Jassi were on her neck again in the boat ride. She really has nothing to give now, do she?

MIA. It's funny really. She was there, but not there post her ride with La Dame. Of course, she did not need to be there since her representative Jacqueline was there to stir the pot. And I felt it was telling when La Dame was getting Jacqueline together, she gave very little assist. But that's fine. She made up for it with the ambush at the end. Meanwhile, she already trying to start a little mess with Stacey, too. I just wonder if it's because Stacey is a newbie, or is it to do divide-and-conquer on La Dame's allies.

STACEY. 'Come to my planet. It's marvelous.' GO ON, BABY KENYA!!! lol. She continued to be a vibe this week. And how she reacted to the bunkbeds is how I react to stairs in houses...so I totally related. lol. If that was a trap set by Mia, Stacey rose about it with her reaction. We know I'm loving how she stays on Ashley's neck. That said...I did see her do some subtle shade twice this episode. I'm telling you. She's going to be a ninja.

KEIARNA. I feel like she's done more, but I can't think of it outside of getting to know Jassi.  Or was it her that set up the Battle to be Mia's Sidekick? Still enjoying.

THE HONORABLE MENTIONS:

MIA'S REPRESENTATIVE. JACQUELINE. Lord...she's trying. And failing everywhere, BUT UP. Everyone already poking her for being Mia's sidekick. Trying to stand out only to wind up rooming with Mia AGAIN. Battling with Jassi over being Mia's sidekick. Getting dragged by La Dame. Just...smh. After a strong intro several seasons ago...I can't believe how she's fallen.

JASSI. Still going strong. lol. 'You're going to be sleep with Mia anyway.' 'The neck up. For sure.' She stayed being a quote queen. She owned what she said. And as always, stayed on Ashley's neck.

A good start to the local cast trip. This show is so back.

OG RHONY

Our beloved Sonja Morgan has bought a waterfront condo in West Palm Beach for $600,000. It is a humble abode of 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms in about 1,170 sq feet but I remember how much happier Sonja was in her small apartment at Columbus Circle that she rented while her albatross of a townhouse was tenanted.

NY Post broke the story: https://nypost.com/2024/10/29/real-estate/sonja-morgan-buys-600k-florida-condo/

Palm Beach Post has the best image gallery of the place:  https://www.palmbeachpost.com/story/news/local/westpb/2024/10/31/sonja-morgan-of-real-housewives-of-new-york-buys-florida-west-palm-beach-condo/75943259007/

I sincerely hope that Sonja finds peace and healing in her new home and is unburdened from her past. Ramona has a condo a few blocks away (I note it is not waterfront...) that she paid $715,000 for a couple of years ago.

NY

Now that I have wiggle room...AS IF!!! LOL.

I thought it was a pretty good episode. But I love CLUELESS, so I was eating up all the references. I loved the intro for this week. And the whole idea around Jessel's party...complete with outfit changes...is how a host should be...haters can stay pressed!!! And I loved watching the CLUELESS party, looking at the different outfits in the background (I see you, Cher Yellow Outfit!).

Of course, this episode had to have a sourpuss. And that sourpuss's name was Brynn. SMH. Leaving the party to get a tan when she wasn't dissing the host. Stirring the pot between Erin and Jenna...which makes no sense given she's also Erin's friend. Saying one thing about Sai (and Production doing the rollback) and then mocking Ubah's accent again. Just a mess all around. Her only humanizing moment was a cameo from Gideon...who clearly still loves her.

Meanwhile, there was the drama between Jenna and Erin. And it was serious, but silly. A misunderstanding of the Kandi Buress 'if I don't know we have a problem' variety. And...hmmm. I'm a little bit bias...of course lol...because I had a similar situation going on as of late and I would be the Erin. lol. So I did like Abe stepped in. As did Raquel and Jessel, and they got Jenna and Erin to mend fences. It was good to see. Though all I could think was...oooooo Brynn is going to be mad at that.

BRYNN. All I can say is...well what I said above. She was just insufferable. EXCEPT for her scene with Gideon.

SAI. Easily the highlight for me. Just like Gizelle is having a redemption season over on RHOP. I feel (for now) the same is happening with Sai. Though I was a fan of her last season, the turnaround has been impressive. And this episode her dealing with her mother's ashes...given what this week means to me due to my father...that was triggering, and I had a good cry. Just to see her so open and with her family...that is what I be looking for sometimes with Housewives. It was nice to see her opening up. Also good to see her husband. And this aunt of hers was hilarious.

RAQUEL. The other highlight was Raquel and Ubah bonding. And what will stick with me was what Raquel said about art. Two things that I used to do that I rarely do now was art and poetry. Both of them I used to do even more than writing was a...for lack of a better word more emotional outlet. Some of the art I used to do in high school and college could take your breath away. But...I focused on my writing and living and that fell by the wayside. Though I still dream that someday when I have the modestly successful writing career of being like Clive Barker and his three houses next to each other...one for him to write in, one for him to do his art in, and one where it's just him with his family...outside of that, I don't do art anymore. So I understand Ubah and how she feels about art and Raquel thoughts on Ubah drawing as well. So that scene just really hit and resonated with me. Because sometimes I do miss art and wish I had the time and money to get back into it. I also liked Raquel being the one to get Erin to sit with Jenna.

JENNA. I loved she dressed as Mel for the party!!! Other than that, it was good to see her talk about her son leaving and going about and us seeing her at work. It is so interesting how she was just so open and loose at work, but at the party she's so shy. And I guess it said something that she's so genuine that Abe basically started to form the bridge needed for her and Erin to sit and talk.

ERIN. On one hand, yeah if I've been through some emotional moments and called you my friend and I tried to get ahold of you, I WOULD feel a way about seeing you online just living life. In fact...but I digress.

Please register in order to view this content

On the other hand, given that Erin kept talking about her feelings to everyone BUT Jenna...yeah at some point even I would have to have a sit-down to talk about it. Hopefully her and Jenna will continue to grow more than my friend.

UBAH. Again, all I can say was I loved her talk with Raquel. And as much as it revealed about Raquel, it revealed how Ubah copes. And I found that admirable. Of course, it looks like she does something stupid next week, but for now she was good.

JESSEL. 'You're Jessel's husband? Seriously?' took me out. Not some guest thinking he has a shot with Jessel...LOL!!! But I can understand. Jessel's party was fun. And she was being fun. And I liked her outfit. I love the CLUELESS cake. And who else outside of Erin's Hampton house has truly done anything or show some money!!! Another thing we watch Housewives for.  More of this please. I loved that everyone was in the spirit, too, and mostly everyone was dressed like someone from CLUELESS.

So this episode...an easy fave with great personal story scenes, a bit of drama, and a cast party. I guess my only worry is that I enjoyed all the personal story scenes more than the group scenes though I LOVE the party itself...if that means sense.

The girls have not found their mojo. Yet.

I am actually in shock at how good OC has been this season. Not a filler episode once. The scene where Jenn finally got to drag a barefaced Gollum Tamra (makeup artists really do perform extraordinary feats of magic) was cathartic for this longtime viewer. Finally, someone not afraid to go up against her. Even Emily is overtly careful to keep Tamra on her good side.

The show felt like a return to S8-9, not least with the old Tamra-Heather evil alliance back in lockstep. God knows why Emily did Heather's bidding in the finale episode. I look forward to the rest of the group taking them to task, starting with Katie who seems to have triggered some kind of jealous ire out of Heather.

This makes me very happy. Sonja finally has a place all of her very own, and in a city she enjoys. West Palm Beach has literally become the old Upper East and Upper West Side of Manhattan, and a lot of her closest friends have houses in the Miami area.

Thank you for going back to respond to my post, and for your kind words about my mom. I have no doubts, Taoboi, that you must be a top-notch and very considerate client-facing professional. Because you have a lot of empathy for people, and you seek to communicatewith others. I'll bet all the guests you went the extra mile for remembers that you made their time in San Diego so much better -- especially the guest who returned a second time. People remember kindnesses.

Awww thank you, Cat. I'm currently at home on an actual off-work weekend playing a bit of catch-up on some personal goals (reviewing The Politics Thread before I start on my voting packet) while decompressing/regrouping from this past weekend and needed to hear that.

I do like some of the professional changes I've met over the last few years that I never would have imagine say a decade ago...okay I'm rambling. lol.  I do love seeing return guests for sure because I was so nervous when I first started, and it's a joy when I remember ohh this quirky older couple who recommended this mom and pop donut shop that I don't think I'm able to get to, but it sounded great. They have a daughter out there they come to visit and they are always so happy. I loved their vibe. I do hope to see my other guest before she leaves. She was so worried this past weekend that she would not see me, but I said I had requested off a good amount of this past week so she should see me. Considering giving her a gift.

The future of Potomac! RHOP has not 1, not 2, but 3 AMAZING newbies. The new girls are killing it this season and have really made this show feel rejuvenated. They fit in like a glove and show up to work

Stacey is so quirky and i get the comparisons to Mary and Katie. I dont think she knows what show she signed up for bc she is so shocked by all the cattiness and mess and I love that for us. Her reactions are genuine and we rarely get that. She's so over the top and dramatic with her hysterics....lol

Jassi coming in and checking Ashley! I love how she shaded her in this scene and it happened so effortless. She is quick and I want to learn more about her. She definitely could have been a wife and taken Ashley's spot

And then there's K. Not quite new, but she's a new housewife, so Im counting her. Dont let the sweet exterior fool you bc she is a firecracker. She still dont see it for Ashley and neither do I. Mia thought she ate with that shade about a drug dealer bf, but who cares? I love how K stands on business and tried to shut down the attacks on Karen

The villains. A dilapidated pole humper, a dingbat and a Trashley. Mia really is feeling herself and thinks she's the new Gizelle with Mia being her Robyn. Jaqueline is such a disappointment bc she could have been part of that new girl energy aligning herself with the other 3 instead of staying behind Mia's butt yet again. She's doing worse this season going up against Karen bc she is eating her azz up every time.

All in all, Im LOVING Potomac this season. It is so back and we are 3 for 4, in terms of amazing RH shows this fall. Sorry NY, for getting RHOP's former EP, Eric Fuller. He's the problem and that show sucks with him as leader

And lest we forget...just like 50Cynt did to Shady Phae Phae at the RHOA S7 reunion...K has had subtle shade that cuts when she said 'the face glass' meaning Mia has a craterface while her face is fabulous. So that was the only warning Mia got to keep it cute cuz she CAN go low if Mia wants to go THERE.

Oh, yes...oh so back. hehe. I guess Eric WAS the problem. Poor NY.

I so agree. I still haven't even watched the reunion yet. Almost scared to now given the bounce back has been superb. So fresh, so new, so exciting.
