If Wendy is game for being a villain then she would be great next season. Whether that's her against Karen, or another HW, would be fine with me.

If she wants to just make another fake career change, have an other obligatory season with her overbearing mother, and drag out Happy Eddie for a scene or two, then pass.

This finale definitely set it up for a Karen vs Wendy but Wendy wouldnt be the villian in that scenario; Karen is. Karen got a very bad edit and is in the wrong about so many things with several of the women

with the red light, she looked like the devil. Im here for Wendy and Stacey tagteaming her next season. I was all for Karen being fired by the thought of those two dragging her has me intrigued. Im here for that

Rhobh/Denise

I think that's good that Denise has her own show. Shock it's on Bravo but good for her and us. More airtime for our BH favorites.

The finale didn't get good until Stacey’s party. The editing is horrible. Why are they wasting so much screen time on Ashley's aunt? And and the tenth thousand scene of Gizelle with her kids? Stop it! It's lazy. That screen time could've been given to that Karen and Wendy sit down.

Season 8 finale was miles ahead of this.

Stacey is more worthy of the villain position, and would actually excel at it if she ignores social media.

I didn't hate the first one, but this teaser absolutely got me excited. The cast is not that much younger but they have a younger more vibrant vibe and I like it.

LOL...was she? I thought she flopped and Andy dismissed her before the half hour mark. She really could have stayed home. She was too sensitive and her grievances were not landing. She could have been a good villian but did not stand strong in any of her convictions or fleeting moments of shade. They honestly could have cut her material out and had the show be under an hour instead of supersized

And UGH to Brynn crying her way to redemption. This reunion paved the path for her return when everyone should be paying her dust. This behavior should not be reward

RHOBH

Sutton's mother is a racist and Garcelle needs to just leave that alone instead of getting involved. That woman is over 80 and set in her ways and she most definitely isnt going to listen to you as a black woman she does not know or respect. Wrong road girl

She did for me. Brynn didn't recover from 'what are you the location police.' and 'since you tracking my whereabout' did me in. Letting Brynn stumbling. And she was not at all wrong in her unexpected bout with Erin, either. And this is the friend that Erin introduced yet Erin was being as self-absorbed as she claimed Rebecca was. So yep. She did. She only stumbled whenever anyone asked her about Scientology. But I expect no less from one. Sadly. Look at Tom Cruise.

Yeah, I didn't like that last 11 minutes at all. I DID like that Sai still has her number.

Oh yep. That woman is so passive aggressive and cringy, I can only imagine how much worse next week's episode will be. She even made fun of her own grandson. Always passing digs, never happy with anyone, and only concerned that her ex-son in law is funding her lifestyle. Ugh, what a wretch.

It was so obvious. And cringe. The upside is Garcelle did not give a solitary f*ck. She handled Sutton's mother perfectly and showed what an arsehole she is.

Sutton's mother is a complete explanation for much of who Sutton is. She is so toxic and passive aggressive and just awful.

Kyle really showed, again, what a terrible friend and person she is while she makes excuse after excuse for Sutton's mother (watch the After Show on YouTube) all while never giving Sutton any credit.

All that to say Sutton's house in Augusta is gorgeous. Her mother should be kissing her feet given Sutton's alimony supports her.

I found the last scene the most riveting though, as Erika explained the facts of divorce to Dorit. Kathy and Boz nodding along, knowing the hellscape that is about the reveal itself, as the music reached a frenzied crescendo as Dorit declares war on PK? Fantastic.

    • By 78 NBC daytime was struggling. They knew what the issues were but failed to make the changes needed to get those young gals watching.  Jan 78 Plans for NBC's daytime programs - which are in third place -are apparently less well defined at the moment. Michael Brockman, a former daytime programer at ABC, took the position of vice president in charge of daytime for NBC just a few weeks ago. He and his chief assistant, Mary Alice Dwyer (an associate of Mr. Brockman at ABC), are in the process of analyzing the network's schedule to determine where to begin making changes. One thing Mr. Brockman knows, he said, is that NBC needs more women18 -49 (NBC is currently last in that category in daytime). "Whatever you design," he said, "has to fundamentally appeal to that demographic." He indicated, however, that he is less concerned with the network's afternoon serial block than he is with its morning game show and rerun mix, and, like his counterparts at the other networks, Mr. Brockman discounts the notion that recent drops in daytime viewership may be attributable to the one -hour serial form. The first changes were indeed in the morning. In April 78 Card Sharks replaced Sanford and Son reruns at 10am and High Rollers was introduced at 11am knocking Wheel of Fortune back to 11.30 replacing Knockout. Sanford and Son moved to noon replacing To Say the Least. On paper that looked like a stronger schedule. The next move in July was the disastrous America Alive at noon, replacing Sanford and The Gong Show, which set them back even further. Finally in October 78, Jeopardy was brought back at 10.30 and Hollywood Squares moved to 1pm replacing another flop For Richer for Poorer. The only major change for the soaps apart from cancelling FRFP, was Linda Grover as headwriter for The Doctors as of April 78.
    • Yeah, Ben and Evie don't start interacting in a 'we're going to pair them together as a couple' way until Feb/March 1977 when she recommends Ben paint a portrait for Jackie.  And Evie's working for Jackie so she and Ben interact and start to become friends.  That happens after Tim breaks up with  her and she's forgiven her sister.. and he and Hope break up after he covers for his younger brother for a crime that he had committed.  Jackie does come onto the canvas in December 1976 and the first months are her trying to snag Mike while she and Justin seem to play a cat and mouse game with one another as he's trying to restart things with Sara again. I often wonder if the Phillip story only came about because the show was going to be expanded to an hour.. and the Dobson's deciding that some of the new characters they were introducing could be tied to Justin/Jackie's back story.
    • Seems like the Dobsons were aiming for a Joe/Sara/Justin triangle or, having decided that Joe would be killed off, Justin would be waiting in the wings. But that never came to pass and I don't think there was much reference to Justin/Sara as time went on.That was something that could have been used later on but Doug Marland may not have known or cared. Also, when the show went to an hour they could add a lot of characters and not rely on the stalwarts, hence Jackie/Alan/Elizabeth. And after Leslie died, Mike went into Dad mode with Hope. Hope/Ben never took off and Hope was replaced and then dropped and Ben moved on to Eve, whose romance with Tim fizzled and Jordan Clarke left (by choice?)

    • When I was a kid, I would watch DOOL with my mom. I remember Denise as Susan so well. And later, of course, on GH. How sad to hear she has passed. RIP.
    • I have to dig that scene up on YT. I'm glad they gave them some kind of happy ending, even if it was really late. Interesting! I remember Justin and Sarah being involved, but I either forgot or never caught their backstory. The girl with money and social position of course turns out to be Jackie. He sort of did to Sarah what Vanessa did to his brother! I do remember Justin started out as not the greatest guy. Kind of a horn dog. It's only when Ross comes on that he becomes the "good" brother. I only have some vague memories of Ben and Hope, mostly of when they were in a positive relationship. He certainly changed over time. "Chill" would be the way I would describe Ben (along with "handsome but kind of a yawn") for most of his time on GL, so hearing he once had a violent temper is very surprising.
    • Yes. That's called good writing.
    • interesting idea.  That makes sense, as MVJ seems to have set up each character development (traits) for future plot developments.
    • I really enjoyed today's episode. It showcased a lot of the other cast and I saw hints of storyline potential (Smitty & Bill). Martin definitely has some anger issues and I recall him being overly scared about protecting his family and having all the doors locked, coming out of one of his "dreams". There's obviously a lot going on there and I can't wait to find out more. I'm thinking June is going to be more than just the issue story of the week. I think she just might be related to one or more of our main characters. As for Tomas, yes, Alex Alegria is not the strongest actor, but he's pretty to look at and he emotes something. I'm just not sure what that something is yet.
