like, it’s baaaaaad. Gizelle is going to tear that apart.

Monique/Candiace update:  New report says that all the girls were having dinner at a winery and Candiace throws a wine glass at Monique, which ends up lacerating her lip... so Monique gets up and drags her down by the hair. Sounds like Candiace started the physical part of it.

I'm embarrassed for Karen and yeah, Giz is going to have quite the field day with this.  I hate when folks give their enemies ammunition.  Karen seems like she knows class from trash so why not pay a few models to be in the ad with her and hire someone who could do a really good shoot [for cheap] where Karen is still the face of the damn perfume?!

DALLAS

They knew what they were doing. They're trash.  And the fact that this Mean Girl S**^ is over LeeAnne telling Kary to mind a culture that she supposedly knew about from the THREE visits she already taken and knew and was STILL going to go into a church with a hat on.

LeeAnne's ignorant is because she does not know better at times especially when heated. You are willingly ignorant with no sign of wanting to do better (something LeeAnne at least attempts at times) and that for me, Kary, makes you not only stupid yourself, but a basic bitca.

Happy the other girls stood up for LeeAnne. I can stan for a Brandi who is the voice of reason that's for sure.

D'Andra...you cancelled, girl. Any bridges you made to get LeeAnne back as a friend just went up in smoke over your transparent 'joke.' And loved that Brandi called it like she saw it.

And to think...the Thailand trip was going so well. Those two must have ready hated that LeeAnne, Stephanie, Brandi, and Kameron were all getting along for most of the episode, making it a fun one. Just...ugh.

I was reading about Monique possibly quitting and she has a point.  She has too much to lose.  I'm sure she and Chris have talked about it.  I don't even care about that child Candace.  I don't wish for Jiz to win and this would be a win for her.  That makes me seethe.

This would be a huge loss because Monique is the only wife on the show who has money (sorry, Black Broke Bill Gates), a healthy marriage and family.  Her husband would do anything for her.  How many of these shows have that (Ken from BH but they are gone from show)?  Monique can afford that zip code.  Ashley does not count for obvious reasons.

    • So Sonni would have somebody to talk to who she wasn't conspiring with (Will or Alan)? Alex kept telling Sonni how important her friends were...when she had virtually no friends. Instead they created loyal servants like Jane and Vera to give Alex people to play off of. They did that with Iris on AW, but Vivien was mostly there for comic relief Alex keeping Marah's paternity a secret was absurd. But I still love the scene between Alex and Alan where he convinces her by reminding her how they protected each other from their abusive father. Chris and Bev ATE that scene. Unfortunately, that took place only a few months before he exited the show...always thought they could have built on that, explored more how being Brandon's children screwed them both up. Maybe even used it as an explanation for the way their relationship could constantly swing from hatred to love. Instead of it being merely dictated by the plot.
    • The first one is Cass Winthrop dressed as Krystle Lake on Another World (not from his original creation of the character to hide from the loan shark Tony the Tuna, but at a romance convention trying to find out what had happened to Felicia who was missing). The second one is also Another World, Jake McKinnon as Doris although I don't recall what his purpose was.
    • I know there was one brief scene in the summer of 1989 where Lillian did mention Calla.. but in relation to her past relationship to Ross and it was to Roger while he was a patient at Cedars.  I think he was trying to pump her for information on Ross.. and for some reason, Calla's name came up.   I could see perhaps Beth mentioning that her mother Lillian was visiting Calla.. but not exactly giving any sort of details as to the going ons in Calla's life off screen.
    • Mac Scorpio and Kevin Collins, GH

    • They're neither great nor terrible AFAIK, but it is more a question of the streaming numbers in this day and age vs. actual TV airings. The Chibnall era reminded me much more of the crisis years, but I do think it's a very real possibility now as well due to the streaming bubble collapse affecting the show and its prospects.
    • ANYTHING to get her off the screen..she COULD have been interesting if she and Van had a few face offs..(there was a mild one of her going back to work...but I wanted something meatier "Bitch, I am Vanessa Chamberlain and I don't take advice from someone who followed the..career path you did!" I did like Alex's outright disdain for her.
    • Thanks @Vee for the commentary.    I haven’t even watched this season yet after  I couldn’t get past the couple episodes last season…like it was too Disneyified for my taste, although I did think it was a least better than the Chibnall era (but so is a lot of things). I’ll probably go back and binge it now. Hoping this season ends on a high note. I did read the ratings are terrible. As it stands I’m beginning to feel like what long time DW fans felt with S26 in 1989.
    • Yes, they are all on contract. Next.
    • I also never understood Alex's friendship with Sonni or keeping the secret of Marah's paternity.  Not exactly heartbroken about Ms. Sally being ushered to the Hereafter.
