LOL! I told y'all! I think what happened is that they slowed down the clip of her walking to make it dramatic and then never sped it back up which is why her voice sounds like that, but you KNOW somebody in post production caught that and let it slide to shade the !@#$%^&*] outta her! LOL!

Not sure how much I believe any of this because they're half the cast and the producers, quite frankly, need them. This is one franchise that is in serious trouble of not finding its footing.

IMO, I'd drop all three of them at this point. This has been the second time they've done this and it nearly killed RHONY. 

 

You already have Bethenny, Dorinda, and Carole signed on. I'd bring back Jill and cast 4 new women. Bravo needs to learn to pay a lot of these women dust when it comes to contract negotiations. 

 

RHOA S8E2: 

 

Many people are saying they didn't enjoy tonight's episode but I did. 

 

I gotta start off by giving Phaedra props for not kicking Cynthia while she's down ... yet. We all know that Phaedra will bury the hatchet one sec and turn on you the next. Cynthia gets props too for being honest and open about her situation. It's refreshing. 

 

Pinto Bean's party for Duke was so awkward. He looked like he wanted to flee for the nearest exit throughout that entire scene. And the tea being spilled on him that he allegedly had a past with a trans-woman and his love for porn stars was too much. Some things should be left unsaid. Also, her assuming that 13 wks = 2 months was embarrassing. She needs to learn to just shut up b/c she exudes stupidity each chance she's onscreen. 

 

Phelony and Kandi's heart to heart was so anticlimactic. I feel like Phelony played Kandi like a fiddle to get her off her back for the time being. I am glad that Don Juan picked up on it and brought it to Kandi's attention. Sadly, Kandi is so desperate for Phelony's friendship that she didn't even pick up on it. Phelony deflected the entire exchange and Kandi didn't even take note. 

 

I am enjoying this season. It isn't as toxic as seasons 6 & 7 were. This season is giving me seasons 4 & 5 vibes where it was messy but fun messy.

According to TT, Real Housewives of Melbourne will be done with their filming on their third season tomorrow.

And everyone is back plus a new housewife.

Well that's probably because his friend who was with him was quietly urging him not to leave and make a scene (Dook & Porsha are broken up now). Honestly, though, you could see his life flash before his eyes when her family popped out at him and Porsha was like "We're gonna make a future together." Interesting to see her 'team' are like "everytime Toyota gets a new boyfriend, she ignores work."

 

I wonder if the Phaedra-Kandi reconciliation is real. It felt real but Phaedra is such a slippery character, I just never know when she's being heartfelt or not. 

 

Sheree is being credited onscreen as "Cynthia's friend," "Kandi's friend." Bravo are SO shady when it comes to Sheree!

 

IA Cheap I think Sheree should have been made a full HW. Having said that, I like Kim and think a stabilizing, calm influence would not go amiss on many RH shows.

 

Everytime Bravo shows the the footage of Peter 'whispering' to that woman, it just looks worse and worse. It outright looks like he was making out with her. He was such a little bitch at Cynthia's eyewear launch, too. I can't believe he sniped at his wife for looking hot as f*ck in her bikini outfit. LuPeter is looking so bad this season. He'll prob just say it was his turn for the Real Housewife Bitch Edit, though.

I thought season 1 of LoL was much better than Cheshire but this year, I think its reverse as Cheshire has broke out into its own whereas LoL wasnt as good this season. Im not sure I would liken Cheshire to OC though. I get the comparison they were trying to make based on geography.

Just an FYI for RHOA, ratings went up to 3.1 million so things are going well this year. People tuned in for the premiere (which jumped from 2.9 to 3.7 million in the Live+3 ratings) and apparently liked what they saw. I'm a big fan as well. It reminds me more of Orange County this season. You have some real relationship issues with some of the couples and it's like the girls are all being reintroduced to each other. Phaedra and Porsha in particular, because with Nene gone they completely need to find their footing again. They're the minority. I hope that Phaedra and Cynthia can truly build a friendship because they're very watchable together. Porsha is slow and a trainwreck and embarrassment but she is bringing it this season. I'll accept that you need that one total disaster and she's filling that slot well. Her party was cringeworthy. Kim Fields was AMAZING! She's so well spoken and funny and natural on camera. I know she's a child star but I didn't expect her to be natural as a reality star. I don't feel like she's playing for the cameras, everything about her felt real. Natural makeup, even her interview look was very normal. I hope she remains true to herself. I want to see her integrated in the group so bad. Sheree and Marlo continue to impress in their supporting roles and I truly feel both should be full time housewives. At least Marlo since she has a house she can film in. I bet her talking heads and solo scenes would provide much needed comedy. You could probably swap her in for Porsha and not skip a beat. I probably would've reversed their roles.

With Cheshire on Bravo I decided to re-watch season one and I hadn't realized how BAD the production values were. TERRIBLE! And their fashion is horrendous. They got a HUGE upgrade in season two. HUGE! Ampika and Tanya looks HORRIBLE. And you can tell Dawn looks haggard and after the season aired she got plastic surgery on her face. Her face looks swollen in her talking heads but she looks good now. Another thing I hadn't realized was how horrible they were to Magali. Washington Post had an article that said it looked so bad having these Anglo women picking on the dark skinned one, but that is clearly what it is. When Dawn was explaining her problems with Magali she kept saying how Magali will kiss up to anyone to build her social profile, but in two seasons we haven't seen anything like that from her. The entire first episode they were all (including Ampika) so horrible to her. The only one who wasn't was Lauren. I was shocked. It makes me appreciate where Magali was coming from in season two now that I've rewatched it. She can't catch a break from day one. When Dawn called to invite her to the ball she was so mean and refused to even let Magali apologize and explain the misunderstanding. It was that moment I knew everything I needed to know about Dawn. She simply wanted to fight.

That's why I was all for Magali giving Dawn the 'fever' this season. She asked for it. When Magali tried extending an olive branch, she turned the calvary against her. When Dawn tried, she expected Magali to cower and toe the line and she didn't. 

 

Dawn is on that Nene sh-t where she wants to play victim when her back is against the wall. She knew she treated Magali like crap s1 and was trying to fix her image. I've never bought it. Her true colors popped out again in the finale when she took a shot at Magali for no reason. 

 

Re-watching s1 has been a refresher and reminded me why Magali is justified in her actions.

I think they were fine with Nene, but she is very sensitive when she feels she's being picked on. I liked the interview overall though.
