LMAO! Lisa Rinna is defiantly trying to keep Meg Ryan's 90s shag alive. It's like You've Got Mail was just released yesterday.

I have to say I am most disappointed by My Eileen's outfit. I wanted some floor-length Y&R number. And I HOPE AND PRAY that those are not Mephisto sandals she is wearing with it.

I see they've stuck Stumpy McCaftan front-and-center again next to Empress Lisa. Why, Andy, why?

That's it! That 90s shag! Such a shame, it doesn't suit Lisa anymore, she's 51, time to shake things up, maybe grow it out, maybe go shorter?

I'm disappointed in Eileen's outfit too, it's very casual compared to the rest of them (including Yolanda's STD dress). She needed to be in something full length and bold. She can handle it.

Stumpy McCaftan just wouldn't stand being anything less than front and centre...but she knows, deep down, how inferior she is, and it just galls her. We have to satisfy ourselves with that knowledge. She'll never be Empress Lisa, no matter what she does or however low she stoops. She isn't capable of being her.

Rinna's hair is so associated with 'her' now, I don't think she'd dare change it. Just like Lisa won't stray from the Ken Paves blow-out or Stumpy from her waist-length hair. Sadly.

So do we have start dates for Atl and BH? (Sorry if they've already been posted -- I am dying to watch some RH and I refuse out of principle to watch the mess that is NJ).

I agree that Rinna's hair is very You've Got Mail Meg Ryan, but at the same time, it is her signature look since way back when during her Taylor McBride Melrose Place days (though she did grow it out nicely during her 2nd year).

Can't wait for this group of gals to debut! Eileen should've worn a dress similar to her Y&R opening circa '99-'03 (the red backdrop & porno music years) when we first saw a full body silhouette of her before the up close shot.

All the BH wives look gorgeous except for Lemons and her tacky checkers dress lol. Glad she's far on the left where her irrelevant butt belongs....

Lisa and Eileen look so flawless. Rinna looks very Hollywood/Daytime royalty...

Kathy and Ro's fake asses at this reunion. I can perhaps buy that Rosie gives two f's bout Tre but even she admitted she only wanted to talk to them "for herself". With these two it's all about how it best serves them. I can't believe how selfish they are....

Teresa handled it like a pro though and walked out gracefully. Love the golden dress. By far the most beautiful on the set. Followed by Dina, TeRESa, and Nicole.

The twins and the Cannoli sisters are so annoying.

Dina really delivered at this reunion. I loved when she gathered Melissa's fake, hating ass.

I like Jim and can't wait until he calls out Gorga. Hollering about "dont talk about my sister" but he spent the past 3 years calling Teresa everything but a child of God. Girl bye!

    • Thanks. I'm glad we have some fan memories of these years as this is such a typically snide take on the genre. It's also poorly written and reminds me a great deal of the tedious "snark" recaps that became popular in the '90s. The end in particular. The 1979/80 stuff I have seen is much more polished than a number of soaps at the time. It was very easy to watch and not too bogged down in past story.  Margo is played by Ann Williams, who was on what seemed like every soap. I think she said Margo was her favorite role.  These episodes aren't consecutive, but if you ever have time, they are worth a watch. They are bits and pieces from January and April of 1979 - April in and out of prison, her past calling to her via her psychic powers (and the suicide of Miles' wife Denise, who had murder framing in mind). April 1979 has the end of Winter Austen (such a fantastic soap name).  I don't want to drop a ton of links but you can find playlists on Youtube.
    • And the rating 'wars' continue...hehe.
    • Well, it was fun while it lasted for Rebecca Herbst. Le sigh.
    • I am wholeheartedly enjoying this show. I just haven't been able to post as much as I used to. But yes, this episode needs to be submitted for the EMMYs and there needs to be wins. I better NOT see Y&R, DAYS, or B&B winning in categories over BTG. I feel like the only show that is giving BTG an ounce of competition this season is GH.
    • I never thought the day would come, but too much MM for me.
    • I think it may be that the character was brought in for a specific purpose and then became popular with viewers, and the show didn't know how to respond.  The choice to pivot away from Simon/India may show that you are right and they didn't care for her...although pairing them up may be another sign they didn't care for her. I don't connect well with this period but it does make me happy seeing some of these characters before the great purge and some of the surprises - I'd forgotten the wonderful Maureen O'Sullivan popped up to be bumped off. So typical of soaps by this point, but it doesn't grate as much as later on when Y&R would bring on any random cast member from Small Wonder. I'm also amazed at this time at just how much money the show must have had. The costumes for the Founder's celebration in summer 1984, or whatever it was, looked gorgeous.
    • Which officially started to feel that way today with them hearing each other out as they confronted each other at the same time.    Same. He was even catching himself when he was about to go overboard or do those tics that people don't seem to like. He failed a bit at the end, but he carried. It makes me think about a month back when it was discussed that the actor was better in other things he's been in. And I questioned then if that meant that he was playing Martin more intentionally. I questioned that briefly again today because he was giving.
    • I really like the actress who plays Margo. Don't know  her name. I'm so hesitant to google anyone because I don't want to know the length they were on the show. I've watched two episodes and I have to say that the show does not feel as dated as other shows. I tried to watch Ryan's Hope a few weeks back and some of the acting was a bit rough. EON is a lot more natural which amuses me considering it's a mystery/thriller show.
