This is starting tonight. I got sick of this show years ago, mostly because of Trump and because it was all so damn random, but I love Cyndi Lauper and read she was going to be on this season. If anyone is watching this I hope you can tell me if it's any good.

Oh it's off to a good start.

Much like last season, everything has started off with everyone loving each other. It'll deteriorate fast.

I actually think that Sharon isn't going to win this thing, she is a bit beyond all of this and I think she may pull a bit of a Gene Simmons.

I thought it was tacky of Ze Donald (to quote the fabulous Ivana) to insult Rosie O'Donnell. We get it. You don't like her. It's been 4 years. Get over it.

PS: how cute is Joan Rivers? She walks like a baby duck in her high heels on 5th Avenue. Adorable.

I cant stand that Maria ever since i first saw her on some dating show years ago. She really threw Carol under the bus and I hope she is out next

wow, Im glad Im not the only one hating Holly on this. I liked her prior to the show, but she's been so judegemnetal, bossy and ugly this game. I hated how she treated Cindi. It was uncalled for.

Im glad Maria got booted. I cant stand that skank. My hate for her goes back years to when I first saw her on some reality show called Outback Jack. Unfortunately years later, she's made a career for herself on tv and hasnt gone away since. I thought how Trump booted her was a bit rude and unprofessional but so was the comment that prompted that reaction

    • -- I agree that they've taken Leslie's camp as far as they can take it. That works only if there's also a real character there, and we're not seeing that. Every scene with her is game-playing. -- Laura couldn't call IT to have that Notes program straightened out? I get it -- we need to see that Eva is desperately needed, even though she was hired with nothing on her resume that told us she was a tech wiz. But the only person Laura could think of to call was Eva??? -- I would feel more sympathetic to Eva if she didn't continue to cover for her mother, essentially playing both sides. Again, I get it -- we need to see a daughter traumatized by a lifetime of control by her nutjob mother. Still, there's nothing about Leslie that Eva should side with at this point. -- I had to LOL when Anita said she has to call her agent to call off the reunion concert. Huh??? You mean a concert was planned and scheduled even though we haven't heard these three sing a single damn note together?  -- Are we supposed to be taking Anita's side in this Anita vs Sharon battle? Because I'm not there. One day Anita is sad, despondent, and regretful, and the next she's firing back at Sharon and Tracy that "You two are as much to blame as I am."  -- I agree that we need to see the help hired by the wealthy on this show. It's a missed opportunity. -- I continue to like Keith D Robinson as Ted. I think he has more chemistry with Daphnee Duplaix than Maurice Johnson did.

    • The highest rated soap seemingly has the smallest budget. Days has more sets and movement than Y&R and they haven’t had a budget in YEARS. Also their business stories bother me significantly less than Y&R as they actually mention what their companies do from time to time and it doesn’t eat the show.
    • I hate to say it, but same. I gave the recast a chance, but I don't love the change his acting style has brought to the character.  I agree that Maurice needed to develop his craft, especially with the delivery of the more emotional stuff, but he didn't need to be recast. NuTed feels like a punk and too soft.
    • I’m still enjoying Leslie personally. It’s actually fascinating to see her so fear less about getting caught. I don’t even think she comprehends how Eva just saved her ass. Also her interactions with Kat and Jacob entertain me. She has great antagonistic chemistry with both of them. I agree on both accounts.  I have zero connection or interest in the character now. He comes off as such a wimp to me.
    • BY FAR the weakest episode of the past week+. -- Even a change in writers cannot make Leo work as a character. Dialing back on his personality isn't enough -- he's still insufferable. Every scene he was in reminded me of why I grew to hate Carlivati. -- Chad couldn't make a longer obituary on John a go with a single phone call? So stupid. -- Jack and Jennifer should have called in their regrets the way Hallmark Sami did. I got nothing from them today and felt nothing. -- Jack slobbering the praise on Leo for his work at the paper was pathetic.

    • I was relieved to get a respite from the heavy John/Bo material today. Like previously mentioned, it really let us come up for air and breathe a bit, and good beats regarding John were still in play to keep that thoroughline going.  Peter Reckell was fantastic on yesterday's episode. I was worried Bo would be told about Victor and Doug off-screen, so though my heart was fully breaking for him, I'm really happy we got to see him react to their passings. How strange that both his fathers died in a plane crash, I'm surprised they didn't have a line about it, but maybe it would have been to clunky to include. Cat/Tate were a fresh interaction. Why would she "feel" like she knows Sami. It reminded me of when Carrie "felt" like she knew EJ when he first came to town as EJ Wells, where he should have turned out to be a long lost Tony/Anna kid, but then all the mess we got happened instead. With that and her mysterious call, colour me intrigued. I am going to confess something I am almost ashamed to admit ... I like the Jack/Leo scene! However, in my defense, it got very genuine between them and those historical references used about Diana, Duke, and Leo's past with John were all very strong beats to play for me, and most importantly it Leo's responses were kept to a minimum. But by God, those pants he was wearing made him look deranged. Also, shout out to Melissa Reeves, who came back effortlessly yet again. I can't wait to see her confront Chad about letting Cat into his life. And SSH shouting "SKYDIVING" was hilarious.
