Yes, Billy Miller CAN NOT play the vulnerability and understated quality that David Tom brought to the role. Tom could be incredibly emotive with his eyes and facial expressions, Miller can't.

If I were in charge, I'd wait for Miller's cycle to be up and try damn hard to get David Tom back. Try to pull what GH did with Lucky. Only in the case with the Billy character, it wouldn't be as obvious and would probably work out for the better.

No, I'd kill him off. And I'd somehow make Chloe responsible. That way, Jill could have a legitimate reason for being such a bitch.

I really like Josh, Shick--not so much, but....even I thought he could have put a little more into that hug. I swear, JM looked like he was hugging his Great Aunt Mildred goodbye. He even gave her a little pat on the back.

I enjoyed today's show a lot more than yesterday's. Wednesday was not a fun Y&R ride for me. I realize some liked it. In fact, it did more the story forward but I still did not care for it.

the whole show is a complete mess. how in the hell can sony/cbs or even the bell family be happy with the way MAB and Co have completely rip and destoryed the show apart.

There is a more backlash against MAB and her crew of hackers than there was for LML.

also Paul is now the dumbs crayon in the box just watch tomorrows episode.

I don't disagree, but while I think Miller lacks these qualities I have to wonder if the show wasn't so complacent with his turned in performances if he wouldn't have leaped ahead of where he is, by all means he needs to read subtext more and maybe a bit more character research but to me sometimes I feel he does too much and still to little, I can't help but blame as much on the direction and the writing as I do the actor

Josh is really starting to turn me off (as a viewer who generally appreciated his 'likeability'), I used to give him understated now his work is more hollow than Miller's. Yesterday I saw a bit of redemption in his potrayal yet today is a different story

When he was young he didn't need talent, just some slight charm, boyishness, and a good body. Aside from the body, all of that is gone now, and he looks bored to tears. He's been pampered by this show for too long.

If he ever had it to begin with! He might've been boyishly cute at one point - and of course, we don't need to talk about the body, lol - but to me, he was never that "charming." He always came across as a complete douche you just wouldn't bother with under any circumstances.

    • Assuming that Marland had been allowed to write the Carrie story the way he'd envisioned, Millette would've been involved in the story. And she might've played a role in Andy Norris' return (if the speculation on that had ever materialized, and Marland loved bringing back bad boys) But he doesn't seem interested in Sara's personal life. And the women of Springfield could only be analyzed so much.
    • This better be something, because as I said, so far it's just cliches and stereotypes -- the story we've heard a thousand times about the homeless person who doesn't want a home and prefers to live on the streets.
    • @rsclassicfanforever thank you very much for the recent uploads of season 13 containing some episodes that were skipped or glitchy on YouTube!  I had a look at 3172 though and there is no audio for most of it? Would you have a copy with complete audio? Fingers crossed! Thanks again!

    • I like Margaret well enough in what I've seen of her as Paige - she is green but she has real star power.  I agree about the actor who plays Brian. He's...mostly just there. Not bad but not great.  My main issue is with the guy who plays Owen. He's just not appealing to me. I can believe Nola being obsessed with him, but he's draining to watch.  I'm surprised people objected to the quasi-incest elements as it wasn't anything that new for soaps.  Speaking of Kim, here's a rare episode of an anthology show she did called The Evil Touch.

    •   I get what you're both saying, and I think the show was lucky to have even made it that long, but I think they could have still maintained a certain audience - Second Chances did before the earthquake. CBS was an older network anyway. I think the premise of Knots was still usable, it was more the characters who were a problem - many of the older figures were played out. If the show had done a better job building up its younger cast instead of making so many poor choices in the late '80s and early '90s, they could have kept things going a little longer.
    • I wish I cared about the homeless lady as much as everyone else seems to. After the nothing burger that was the lawsuit, this just feels like another boring Naomi storyline at Orphy Genes since she has no office.
    • That's great to hear. Thanks. I wish that was more readily available.
    • Just learned that Clifton Davis wrote this song!  I had no idea.

    • I think even if Marland had wanted to write more for Sara/Adam, his hands would have been tied as Robert Milli was one of the actors dumped by P&G due to his age.  From the bits and pieces I've seen of that period, Sara does have a key role in the Carrie plot, and Marland briefly gave her son Tim a more important part. I'm not sure if they just gave up on Tim once Kevin Bacon left or if they never really cared. I did not even know for many years that there was an actor in the part after Kevin...and then not one, but two. The Spauldingfield video on Tim doesn't even show the last actor (Nigel Reed), which kind of says it all. Anyway, I do get the sense Marland has some use for Sara, or for Millette. It's only after he goes that she is dumped. Of course he didn't ever hire her for his other shows, so maybe I'm wrong. (then again he never hired Geraldine Court either and he seemed very fond of her) Ann is an odd character to me as she is a proto-Lillian in being defined by pining for a Bauer brother and being involved in the death of one of their wives. I do wonder what else they could have done with her. She was friends with Diane, wasn't she? They could have had Diane manipulate her against Mike, I suppose.
