I just love how unsubtle soaps can be. Today was certainly a day for Kish. We had Kyle move into a bigger bigger place than has "more room" (Is it Sky's old room?), then Kyle referred to himself as Oliver's "partner" instead of boyfriend, which is the first time he's used that term. I take it to imply Kyle & Fish's relationship is stronger/more meaningful than just being "boyfriends". Then Kyle talks about he can do a DNA test from getting a sample from a water bottle, as they are drinking water bottles, which in turn he later nabs. And of course Kyle mentions how Gigi and Sky will probably break up tomorrow.

Which I think they do this week

Mimi was a better character than Gigi, but Farah's doing a great job on OLTL.

I like Schuyler but not sure if I see a future outside of him and Gigi, and I feel she is detined for Rex. Maybe they could try him with Nat bc I dont want her back with John. I was thinking that he'd be good over on GH bc the Qs are lacking any life and youth.

I agree. I dont mind the character of Schyler, but they have ruined him. GiGi and him will never last, and what other connections does he have? I think Dillon is MUCH more needed in PC, than Schuyler is in Llanview.

Oh I agree completely. She sucked horribly at both roles, but if I had to choose, I would probably choose Mimi. There is something about the character of GiGi, combined with the god awful acting of Farah Fath that makes her much worse for me than mimi was..

Actually, in a new video interview WeLoveSoaps just did, she mentions that is what she thought and brought that up to Ron and apparently, Ron said he named her after a friend of his and that had no idea her character on DAYS was named Mimi. Then I guess there was some big meeting about at ABC.

GiGi COULD be a very interesting character. She has the right roots, and could be very interesting, however they cast her with an actress who is about as likely to get an Emmy, as Demi Moore is to return to GH full time...If you catch my drift

So RC didn't even know anything about MiMi...But he cast Farah ANYWAY? I always assumed it was a ploy to get DAYs fans to watch OLTL...If he didn't know who she was, what GOT her the role? Certainly not her acting...I bet she poked him in the eye with that asymetrical hair do of hers over and over until he said yes.

Well in the interview, FF said that she wanted to move to NYC, so she had a meeting with Brian Frons and said if anything opened up on AMC or OLTL, let her know and she'd be grateful. A few months later Frons called her. So it sounds like Ron didn't know much about it, he was probably just told, so-in-so is joining your show, create a role.

I think there was more to it. It sounds like she didn't have to audition and I remember that she did and was up for a different character. I forget what the character was but I remember that was the buzz on Daytime Royalty
