All My Children deserves to go up! *Crossing Fingers*

DAYS to.

It'll be interesting to see if GH capitalizes on it's gains last week, holds steady, or tanks.

I'm not expecting a ratings Thursday due to the Monday holiday. Those dang holidays!

General Hospital. They're definitely going to go down, the burning question is how bad will the fall be.

I agree with Angela that we probably won't get the ratings until tomorrow due to President's Day. It should be an interesting week as there were heavy snow storms in a lot of areas. That usually provides a nice bump in the ratings. However, this past Thursday a lot of soaps were pre-empted during their normal time due to storm coverage. Ratings for Thursday could take a big hit.

When are people going to realize Y&R is terrible so they can take a mighty fall.

Y&R has one of the most loyal audiences out there, it will take alot for them to leave.

Y&R get 3.2 I believe, so people isn't that loyal. I believe the only reason why they went up is because that guy that use to be on DAYS & GH. once he worn out his welcome they go back down. & plus nice weather is coming soon.

I don't think GH will lose much in the key demo. I think that lots of the people who come back for the stutns usually stick around until the end of sweeps.

As far as the CBS shows go - they're all probably going to go down. In a few markets they were pre-empted last week in favor of snow storm coverage on the East Coast. In Washington DC, they were moved to the affiliate's digital weather station - and although the news people announced where to find the shows, people just don't do it. I know I didn't...I was stuck at home but watched the storm coverage instead. And when I did switch the channel - I have digital service but the channel was very pixel-y at times...would clear up and be fine for awhile, and then would pixel out.

Which stinks because ATWT had been on the upswing....but I'm betting all 3 CBS shows take a nosedive this week because if similar coverage was going on in other east coast cities...they're all going to drop a couple tenths just because of that.

When will they ever learn that fore-going soaps in favor of some local news story - (and they did it for days on end) - doesn't help you in the long run? You're turning off your most loyal viewers in favor of 1 or 2 snow storms.

WUSA (the CBS affiliate) in DC...even changed their messaging to "Your Storm Safety Center!" LOL. What a joke. You're delivering the WEATHER for God sake.

The snow effect. Hmmm.

Yes, blizzards do afford nice bumps. There were blizzards on the week of the 8th and it snowed in 49 of the 50 states. But there were also pre-emptions. GH got pushed to the A.M. in NY for one of those storms. I know in D.C./Phili a lot of the soaps got pushed to the A.M. Back to potential growth, snow in 49 of 50 states means a larger possibility for more people to decide to stay home.

I don't think GH will lose much in the key demo.

I agree. I don't see the demo going less than 1.4 which will likely have them tied for second.
