I know this is blasphemous, but after watching David and Angie's scenes, I have decided that I would love for them to have a secret forbidden affair. It would be fun to watch Jesse and Tad's heads explode. Angie could reluctantly reunite with Jesse, while she and David continue to long for each other. It would put Angie on the front burner where she belongs.

you arent the only one who has seen the chemistry. I think an affair with David would damage her like it did Krystal, actually more so bc Angie is supposed have higher moral standards than her. I definetly saw sparks the first time they faced off against each other

Reasons?

Completely OOC & the misogyny alone would be horrible.

Fair enough.

I loved Colby sitting on the steps and callously talking to Scott about destroying Annie so that JR will come home and the family will be complete. NuColby is a true Chandler, unlike annoying wimpy Scott.

I did too she was great yesterday, I like seeing her torture Scott and Annie. :P

It was probably both. I could see how the note would be for him to let out that disgusting smirk knowing little "that's my Greenlee" smile at the end of the scene. Then, when they taped the scene, I could see how he could've took that note and chose to run with it throughout the entire scene... Because that arrogant prick was smirking all through that scene. That, to me, wouldn't have been a note because it undermines any dramatic intent the scene is supposed to have. That's more of a note I'd expect a director to give, say, the David Hayward character. While all the others villagers are threatening David with torches, David stands there throughout the entire scene with a smug smirk on his face because he doesn't take them seriously. The last thing you want to do is have Ryan appear not to take Greenlee seriously through an entire scene, because then he just looks like the ass that he is. Not this man who is desperately in love with this woman.

I get what you're saying. Hearing the dialog and seeing the story play out, I kept feeling like some of the delivery stood in contradiction to the scripting.

Not trying to be sexist, but I wonder if it was a male director for the episode.

I've been wanting that ever since David showed back up except I'd prefer they just have crazy hate sex. I can't see her *longing* for David just doing him.

Angie: "Jake, you are getting on my last nerve" LOL

Sucks that we didnt see this hospital strike. Sounds like it would have made an interesting story. I remember the grat one from PC

 Really? Cuz striking janitors who don't even include any characters we know makes for thrilling soap opera?

they could have expanded it to not be simply janitors. That was done for the sake of a quick offscreen conclusion.

No, it was done so that Angie would end up using some of David's blackmail material--the strike itself wasn't the storyline--not even a D level storyline.

OMG! ROTFLMAO!

I suddenly have flashes of memory of my hated Chris Stamp lurking around as a janitor...

The first thing I suspected is that Pratt lawyered-up after seeing Broderick credited as head writer right alongside him. I believe the only reason his name is still there at all is that there are still story throughlines playing out that originated as his ideas. Their executions could be completely different, but they still started with his pitches. This Angie blackmail story could have came out of Pratt, and it just started today (and as I understand it, it won't take long to wrap-up). My impression is that his exit from AMC was an acrimonious one.

Perhaps Broderick herself doesn't want credit for potentially bad ideas, ideas that may not be her own, in the pipeline (see recent spoilers)... or, as you intimated, Steve, maybe Frons doesn't like the viewers celebrating the leadership of someone who has (twice!) turned down an offer to be, permanently, AMC's head writer - or at least doesn't want people to get too comfortable with it.

We'll probably never know what's up with the credits. I'm just glad Broderick's there in a leadership position of some kind. As she has demonstrated in her past work, she's able to make even the not-so-great stories into compelling viewing.

If that is the case then we should still be seeing LML's name in the Y&R credits. We are most surely still suffering the effects of some of her crap.
