I wonder why Lorraine had a week being credited as Co-HW and now she is bumped down to AHW... hmm.

Oh well, it was another fairly solid episode. Can I just say one thing, HD treats Ms. Morgan very well. She looked AMAZING! I loved her scenes with Dr. Dave, while I may not quite agree that Angie would leave herself open to such a thing, the scenes where David lays it all out for her were wonderfully done. That is Dr. David Hayward at his finest.

Rebecca Budig/Greenlee continues to impress the hell out of me. I've always liked her, but her last return was such a waste of time... Rebecca seemed to be disinterested 90% of the time. You can really tell that is not the case anymore.

Ryan's smirk at the end as Greenlee walks out. What a friggin ego.

Jesse, whatever. Darnell's acting choices are really bizarre.... no nuance to his performances as all lately. He was an acting coach?

Adam/JR was really good as well. David Canary seems bored in most of his scenes lately, but he really has been shining with this new turn in JR's cancer and I suspect it will only get better.

Annie replaying in her mind just how she unraveled takes me back to last fall and how she really was the star of AMC. I am hopeful we may see a bit of that again.

Angie: "Jake, you are getting on my last nerve" LOL

Sucks that we didnt see this hospital strike. Sounds like it would have made an interesting story. I remember the grat one from PC

Why is Angie letting David blackmail her? She knows about the lawsuit that Jake threatened him with. She needs to use that to get him to back up off her. If all that stuff comes out, the board wont give him the job

    • I think Ben had already left while under Marland and only returned briefly to reconcile with Eve. The whole thing confuses me as I thought for a long time that Eve left the show to go be with him and that was when they reconciled, but it seems like he returned, they got back together, then he left and maybe they were still together until she left to join him? I have no idea.  It does seem like the interim writers were using some characters like Justin and Helena who were quickly dumped under Kobe/Long, which is a shame. Helena is one of those characters who likely always had a shelf life but Rose Alaio was such a vibrant screen presence, if Kobe/Long had just been patient, she likely would have fit in well in the Reva era.
    • Also, the lawsuit story was not the right story to bring Naomi and Bill into a court battle since those types of lawsuits are usually resolved via settlements.
    • I know that Sara did eventually become Carrie's therapist, but I was curious if the show had her make comments regarding Carrie's stunts of making it seem as though Justin was cheating on Jackie.  Given that Justin cheated on Sara with both Jackie and Brandy, I wondered if it was wise of her to counsel Carrie given the conflict of interest involved. @DRW50I think once Adam/Sara end up married.. Marland didn't see any reason to explore Sara's personal life after the actor playing Adam was released.  I know that Sara lasts until at least Christmas 1982 on the show.. but I don't think she ended up staying on for very long into 1983. The period between Marland quitting and Pam Long starting was the perfect time to clean house on characters that had outgrown their usefulness  (i.e. Ben, Evie, Sara, Jennifer, Morgan).. and tying up stories started by Marland that were too complex (Mona Enright, Mark/Jennifer/Amanda triangle).
    • Unpopular opinion:  The focus on the soap opera tropes over the mysteries and crimes was partly what did the show in.  Also, featuring characters not involved in the legal, police, and criminal elements also hurt the show and took away what made it unique. Featuring characters like Jody, Raven, Sky, etc hurt the show long term.  The show ABCified starting in 1976/1977 and then went through a youthification period starting in 1981.
    • I feel like the lawsuit storyline was resolved quickly because the show didn’t want to spring for more sets.
    • It's been a while, but we have seen the foyer to Bill and Hayley's house as well as the exterior entrance to their house. The foyer was first seen in the premiere episode when Hayley met Vanessa at the house.
    • There's still a year or two before Larkin arrives. Joel is there already. EON does noticeably youthify, although I think they carry it off. Admittedly I haven't seen most of the Jody stories, which from what people here have said aren't great.
    • I don't mind the actor who plays Brian. He's fine. The problem for me is that Paige seems so wishy wishy. She doesn't seem to have much of a personality at this point so I don't see why Brian would be so besotted with her. She just lurches from one trauma to the next. Granted, it's only been a month, but she's not as vibrant as April or even Deborah who has had minimal screen time by this point.  I do worry about the influence of GH on the show since I'm in fall of 1979 and characters have conversations and there's not the drive to "youthify" the show. However, I think Marceau (sp?) is gone. He was given a rather tame sendoff. How long was the actor on the show? I hope this is not a sign of things to come. I worry the show is setting up a murder mystery around one of my favorite characters and I will be mightily annoyed. I also noticed in recent Search for Tomorrow episodes uploaded to YT that the actors playing Logan and Eliot showed up. I don't watch the show but they were in the screencaps. When does Larkin Malloy show up or has he already left? Joel Crothers hasn't shown up either unless I've blinked and missed him.
