April 12, 201015 yr Member I thought so too. He was probably in Los Angeles for 4 days and cranked 7 episodes out. He directed today too. Which is sort of strange considering that Angela Tessinari directed Friday's episode. Maybe the episodes were shot out of order? Maybe the show wanted to team the strongest director with the strongest script writer (Kate Hall).
April 12, 201015 yr Member Considering one episode is shot out of sequence and across several days, I don't know how AMC can actually credit a director. Seems like each episode would be shot by multiple directors (I think they credit the director who directs the majority of the scenes in a given episode).

April 13, 201015 yr Member Thank goodness! And thanks for color coding! ETA: I'm not liking all the "kind of" and "sort of" talk from Kreizman. I hope he doesn't write the same way he speaks. I am sure Sinclair is jumping for joy because now anything good written by Kreizman & Swajeski will be attributed to Lorraine! Fabulousness. Edited April 16, 201015 yr by Sylph
April 17, 201015 yr Member Susan Dansby tweeted that she has been assigned the second-to-last episode of ATWT, so hopefully that means Penelope Koechl was given the finale.

Apparently, David Levinson got the final episode - he probably gave it to himself since he assigns the scripts. If it was up to me, I would've chosen Susan Danbsy (11 straight years) or Penelope Koechl (13 years, from 1987-1999). Oh well, I guess the guy who's been with ATWT for 4 years gets the last episode.

Even to the end the show sucks...why the hell would DL get the final script?? Ugh....maybe its for the best this show has been cancelled. I'll have more free time in my life to do other things.
April 19, 201015 yr Member It reminds me of that dreadful 3-year Amanda Beall getting all of the important AMC episode assignments over veteran writers like, oh, Karen Lewis and Michelle Patrick.
April 19, 201015 yr Member Well, it probably won't be much different now. When AMC gets cancelled, the final show will be written by Rebecca Taylor.
April 19, 201015 yr Member Ordinarily, I'd curse you... but, unfortunately, there's truth to that. 10,000th episode? Rebecca Taylor. Daytime's First Lesbian Wedding? Rebecca Taylor. 40th Anniversary episode? Rebecca Taylor. Edited April 19, 201015 yr by R Sinclair
April 19, 201015 yr Member And in other news, David Levinson has just been added to the Black List! by the Writers Observers©®™ 'mafia'. Not only did he not choose the right person for the job thus and thus gave a nice, big, fat slap to ATWT fans, he chose himself!
