Ewww. Justin is Stephanie's uncle. Steph's dad, Steve and Justin's wife Adrienne (I'm not sure divorce is final yet) are brother and sister.

I know in the end that Bo and Hope will get back together. Like you, I do think Bope will be broken up for awhile though. I see a lot of Bope fans on various boards who think this is just a minor blip and Bope will be back together in no time. Bope was on serious backburner before this marriage strain so I so no need to rush a reunion. That would only put them on backburner again.

Exactly. "In no time" = no thanks. I don't want to see a Bo/Hope reunion for a while. I want an affair in 2011 but I want it to be better than Bo/Carly's affair (if I was a huge Bo/Carly fan, I would've been pissed...I would've been like "that's it?...I waited 16-17 years for that?") I want to see something as good as John/Marlena's affair (that is the gold standard affair storyline for me). Then in 2012, maybe that when the full reunion can happen.

I like that because at least it gives Bo and Carly time to actually be a viable couple and to see if maybe they should be endgame. I know if the show were to end at any point endgame needs to be Bo and Hope but I'm talking more along the lines of committing to Bo and Carly as long the show lasts and only going back to Bope when the show ends because I feel like there is nothing left for Bo and Hope together at this point.

The way they've progressed Bo and Carly is refreshing. Bo finally had enough of Hope after all these years. He wasn't going to bend over backwards anymore. The show has done these kinds of stories before and took the realistic approach. Carly was an escape for Bo from everything. The more time they spent together, the more the memories and feelings flooded back. It's comfortable with her and that is why he's gone back to it and doesn't want to leave her. It's the easy choice and there is less to deal with. There is alot to work out with him and Hope and he doesn't want to try anymore. They've tried so much and issues keep coming back. He's spent and I think she is too only she has no one to turn to the way he does. Bo's been able to find love again (Carly, Billie). Hope never has and that critical difference is coming into play.

;)

No matter how "realistic" or "refreshing" the B/C reunion was, I'm never going to buy it and will always wish it was done differently and slowly. It didn't click with me. You don't need to try and justify it to me every single time I have ojbections to the reunion. It won't work, man. LOL Plus, how many times can we go back and for on this issue? Isn't this like round 5?;)

I wasn't trying to convince you because heaven knows that just isn't worth my time. I was just stating my view on it. I wouldn't have even quoted your post if not for the fact that I liked your idea for a Bope affair down the line after they are apart for awhile. My response had nothing to do with trying to persuade you of anything.

I know you were joking (the Bat signal thing is funny) but not every one of my posts is designed to try to convince you or anyone else of anything. Alot of times I only quote your posts because your posts always lend themselves the best toward a debate, at least for me. In this case, I was simply stating my viewpoint and I can't help but feel like you take what I say as some sort of joke like my sole reason for posting is to get on you when you criticize. Maybe I'm taking this too seriously but I feel like my opinions get demeaned by you at times because of your reaction to them.

I always enjoy the Carly and Mel scenes...they are great together. I thought on Friday's show, that would have been the PERFECT time for Carly to tell Melanie the truth about everything!! But of course things have to be drug out, no surprise LOL  can't wait until everything's all out in the open

    • This better be something, because as I said, so far it's just cliches and stereotypes -- the story we've heard a thousand times about the homeless person who doesn't want a home and prefers to live on the streets.
    • @rsclassicfanforever thank you very much for the recent uploads of season 13 containing some episodes that were skipped or glitchy on YouTube!  I had a look at 3172 though and there is no audio for most of it? Would you have a copy with complete audio? Fingers crossed! Thanks again!

    • I like Margaret well enough in what I've seen of her as Paige - she is green but she has real star power.  I agree about the actor who plays Brian. He's...mostly just there. Not bad but not great.  My main issue is with the guy who plays Owen. He's just not appealing to me. I can believe Nola being obsessed with him, but he's draining to watch.  I'm surprised people objected to the quasi-incest elements as it wasn't anything that new for soaps.  Speaking of Kim, here's a rare episode of an anthology show she did called The Evil Touch.

    •   I get what you're both saying, and I think the show was lucky to have even made it that long, but I think they could have still maintained a certain audience - Second Chances did before the earthquake. CBS was an older network anyway. I think the premise of Knots was still usable, it was more the characters who were a problem - many of the older figures were played out. If the show had done a better job building up its younger cast instead of making so many poor choices in the late '80s and early '90s, they could have kept things going a little longer.
    • I wish I cared about the homeless lady as much as everyone else seems to. After the nothing burger that was the lawsuit, this just feels like another boring Naomi storyline at Orphy Genes since she has no office.
    • That's great to hear. Thanks. I wish that was more readily available.
    • Just learned that Clifton Davis wrote this song!  I had no idea.

    • I think even if Marland had wanted to write more for Sara/Adam, his hands would have been tied as Robert Milli was one of the actors dumped by P&G due to his age.  From the bits and pieces I've seen of that period, Sara does have a key role in the Carrie plot, and Marland briefly gave her son Tim a more important part. I'm not sure if they just gave up on Tim once Kevin Bacon left or if they never really cared. I did not even know for many years that there was an actor in the part after Kevin...and then not one, but two. The Spauldingfield video on Tim doesn't even show the last actor (Nigel Reed), which kind of says it all. Anyway, I do get the sense Marland has some use for Sara, or for Millette. It's only after he goes that she is dumped. Of course he didn't ever hire her for his other shows, so maybe I'm wrong. (then again he never hired Geraldine Court either and he seemed very fond of her) Ann is an odd character to me as she is a proto-Lillian in being defined by pining for a Bauer brother and being involved in the death of one of their wives. I do wonder what else they could have done with her. She was friends with Diane, wasn't she? They could have had Diane manipulate her against Mike, I suppose.
    • Yassss....come on Maurice and Brandon...give us nothing!!! Wow, their need to develop their craft shone like a blinding light this episode. Brandon in his Martin and Smitty scenes sounded like he was reading and the facial expressions were giving Disney Channel. He did much better against Maurice in the Martin v Ted scenes. Now, Teddd-dyy (Dana's voice) was just flat. I watched the episode just now after reading the comment on here that Maurice needs to stop swaying, and now I can't unsee it. Has it really been this bad all along?  Ambyr carries. I don't need to say anymore. I am kind of excited to see this Kat/Tomas/Eva stuff play out.  Bill is such a dick to Dani. Like that's the mother of your children that you cheated on with your daughter's best friend but you look to take those low blows. Lord! When he said that thing about it being obvious he didn't care about Dani anymore since he was the one that walked out...that was cold. I even felt for Dani. Bill definitely is all over the spectrum. You can see a villain possibly surfacing, but you also see this great father. The elder Duprees move a little funny. I'm wondering what that is all about. Are they just overly protective matriarch and patriarch because they think it's what's best for their family, or are they afraid their secrets will come out or there's something more sinister there. Why would Vernon want to keep that information from Martin?  I hope something interesting comes out of this June stuff, but as of right now, I'm not too invested. It's not helping my interest on Naomi or Jacob either. However, tge actress playing Naomi has comes a long way from day one.
