Which reminds me, Dusty is the true heir to the Stenbeck fortune is this ever mentioned anymore?

^^Not since Dusty beat out Paul for the inheritance 2 or so yr.'s ago. Most recently, James died and left Paul and newfound son Henry fighting over it.

Karen ended up with Dusty mostly because he liked her. Burke loved Ariel Aldrin (James' bio-sister) who kind started pursuing him realizing Dusty could be the true heir to the Stenbeck fortune. (James only had it because he had custody of his son Paul, which is part of the reason he tortured Babs and Gunnar so..) Dusty didn't like Ariel at all. He was friends with Karen, and once Burke knew he could die, he made Karen Dusty's guardian.

It's rarely mentioned that Dusty is a "Stenbeck". I do think that when he first showed up in town, I do think Babs mentioned Dusty had lost his inheritance (and a business) implying he was ripped off. When Ralph showed up in town, Dusty made a comment that Ralph had been behind the scam that had cost him that business.

Your right Ariel was the one schemeing to get it (though I think John and Karen were also schemeing.)

How could Dusty loose the fortune in a scam...They used to act like the fortune was old money and millions upon millions of dollars.

But James had no control of the original Stenbeck family fortune....Gunnar proved to be the real heir because of the baby switch. James only money is the drugs/prostitution whatever the hell he was doing on that island all those years...or else it should be that way.

I think Dusty got the "Swedish and legitimate Stenbeck fortune". 'Cause James at the time was presumed dead at the time, falling out of that airplane trying to kill Gunnar and Dusty. Dusty had it for years before losing what he did.

I think the "fortune" Henry and Audrey schemed for is solely James' money, which he got in less legal ways.

Jack saying Janet's always been honest with him was so eye roll worthy. Wait till you find out just how "honest" she's been Jack. It was more than the tonsil hockey with Dusty she mentioned

^^^and I'd be lying if I didn't say I'm waiting for that little secret to explode in Janet's face. At least it doesn't seem like Jack's completely oblivious to the Jan/Dusty connection. Then again...even he knows that he was less than completely truthful about his thoughts about Carly.

Oh, and I guess I'm a little forgetful...I really thought I was the first one who realized Clarissa sounded like Vienna.

I have never understood why they haven't made more of the fact that Dusty is the true Stenbeck heir. Before Larry Bryggman left they never made much of the Dusty and John connection amd that John and James battled each other in the early eighties.

I was the first to say Clarissa was Vienna 2.0...lol. Dont steal my thunder Dusty....haha. i am now 4 days behind. I have been too busy to have a chance to catch up.

Gunnar Stenbeck was Dusty's father but he was raised by another man. Barbara should have taken Dusty under her wings when he returned the first time. That would have made Paul jealous because of all the attention Babs was given Dusty. Treating him more like a son than him. Although Babs has always thought of Dusty as her son.....well I do think so...lol

Today, Henry even compared Clarissa to Vienna--good call, Ron!

Today was okay, aside from Carly and Jack not seeming very worried about Parker or Libby. They were way to calm/relaxed.

Simon was cute today. He and Katie were hot today.

Also, I feel cheated: wanted to see Dusty's helicopters.

I do with they would make more of Dusty being a Stenbeck. Even better, they could bring back John and make him a Dixon.

I wish they'd tie Clarissa and Vienna together. If not one of her many siblings, then a friend or something. Hell, just let them interact together. I do like Clarissa so far. Surprised that Paulina can act. I also think it worked out that she had to buy her own clothes. She looked amazing. Didn't realize how tiny she was though!

Still find that the show sucks donkey balls right now. It's watchable, but not very. The Mick story has turned me off every character involved. I still miss Adam and the Hughes family. Janet and Dusty suck. This terrible story with Liberty just keeps getting worse. I only am rezlly enjoying Carjack and shockingly enough--Alison and Casey. I still enjoy Nut!Meg, Molly, Henry and Katie, but something isn't clicking overall.

It was nice to see Susan today---and listen to her ask Ali why she's been out of the loop with her daughters!

As for the rest.....so-so.

I'm getting tired of the Mick story. You can only sit through so many migraines and nosebleeds and vague comments before all the mystery begins to get a bit old.

Loved Clarissa. I thought Paulina did very, very well. She said she never got the chance to see her tapes when they finished, so maybe somewhere in the world, ATWT fans are letting her know how much they loved her.

The "Special Agent" ruse reminded me of the old Simon/Katie/Henry comic-like-trio from back in the day. Felt like old times.

My mom noticed a weird thing from yesterday's show. While Skatie was talking, he was folding a pair of PINK pants for Katie's young SON. Also, P.J., aside from Jack, Hal, and Brad---who else was Carly married to. Sage said "a couple of other guys" yesterday, but the only other that comes to mind is Winston Lowe.

Actually I noticed that line too and had hoped Sage would say John Dixon but oh well. I liked Alison's nightmare sequence today.

I like this Allison..I remember the first one they had used to annoy the crap out of me. She was supposed to be channeling a brat but she didnt have the talent to make that brat likeable. I like the nightmare, I just hope it adds up to something.

I hate to admit this, as he is totally not my type but Pelphery is a hot piece of ass..the kind you would make leave through the alley and never tell anyone about! I just dont think he does a good James Steinbeck, even if he is a faux Steinbeck. The guy was born to place some nasty street hustler....schtumping Babs (who would be disgusted yet turned on by him) and trying to get her money and coming between the dull gay boys...chaseing after Luke for his money..(imagine the fan boyz and girlz screaming bloody murder if he came between those two!!!)

At least yesterday they had Barbara say he just "claims," to be James as if she still has doubts.

One question as I missed years of the show...what is with the Stewart/Hughes fued,they used to be allies? I know that Susan and Kim have their problems going back to Dan and then Susan and Bob, and I know that Emily screwed Tom, but they act like this is about the whole family against each other.

Katheryn Hays looks freaking great, like she hasnt aged from when I was in high school...so does MM. What is with the ATWT vets and their amazign aging process? It WAS weird when I saw Kim standing in front the set which used to be her kitchen...exactley the same down to the dishes and the branches outside....why did they take it away and make it the set..hell they could have thrown a stage with two chairs to show a talk show.

Tomorrow looks boring, Carjack and that broad that used to be(is still???) married to Jack...that part of the show bores me to tears.

Yeah...the Hughes/Stewart feud is an extension of the Kim/Susan feud. Em and Margo went at it over Tom and then Casey (Em had a brief fling with him). Ali's mostly gotten dragged into it through Chris (who she was at one time engaged to, and then later cheated with the day before her wedding to Aaron.) and Casey. This summer, Kim, Margo and Tom were all harsh to her thinking she was lying about Bob's odd behavior, which turned out to be...some medical condition.

Yes...Jack's still married to Janet. But it's on very shaky ground. She slept with Dusty on NYE, while Jack was stuck in a cabin with Carly and Craig.

So I caught up on last weeks show and noticed Lily and Holden's bell tower being used for Mick. I didnt think that set existed anymore...lol It was nice to see it again.
