For primetime it's the adult 18-49 demos - that's what the network press releases and entertainment sites post about.

So far this year:

CSI/Office

CSI AVG = 3.74

Office AVG = 4.14

Not in demos. The Office has one of the best shows in A18-49 in all on TV. On Thursdays, they beat CSI, Private Practice, and I believe the Mentalist. They are only second to Grey's. And in sitcoms, the Office is 3rd behind 2.5 Men and The Big Bang Theory.

The Office's demos are the reason why the show commands the 3rd highest ad rate on Thursday nights behind Grey's and CSI. I suspect next season, it will command more money than CSI...unless of course CSI starts to beat The Office in the 2nd half on this season.

A18-49? Is that Adults 18-49 or Females 18-49?

Correct me if I am wrong, but,(again, to mention) is there a difference in primetime between who is targeted? I always thought networks coveted the 18-49 Female in all dayparts, not adults. Or is this more NBC Spin Cycle? :D
