Is Cady that unhappy at ATWT? I mean of the two I'd pick ATWT In a heartbeat and at least Rosanna is remotely likeable. I shudder to think what Pratt would do to Dixie.

Oh and Pratt would so totally go for a Tad/KWAK/David/Dixie quad

Is this really news? All she's done in the past decade is bounce back and forth between AMC and ATWT. I fully expect for her to go back to AMC whenever she's done with ATWT

She's probably just protecting herself in case. She's hardly going to say "I'd never go back there" because ATWT's future is hardly concrete, even if it is on a creative upswing right now. She probably sees that ABC is invested in AMC's future and is hedging her bets, just in case.

That's what I was thinking.

Given how Dixie died, how would they bring her back? A twin?

Bingo! Get ready for November sweeps 2010. Just like Marissa and Babe, we'd get Dixie's twin sister Donna or some crap like that.

"Hey, Brian. Don't forget about me!"

Love Cady, love her blog and her directness. But sometimes she oversells her importance to AMC.

So David's character can be decimated to bring back Dixie, or even Greenlee? No thanks.

I don't want David any part of this

They could make David look good in this -- protecting Dixie, helping her slowly regain her health and not being assaulted by full frontal Martins. Not that they'd bother.

Agreed. Not that she wouldn't be welcome back, but I think she just needs to step away quietly for a while and let them figure out what the hell they want to do with Dixie, and how they can do it right (of course, assuming the character even interests them). Plus, Tad's future and viability seems questionable to me at this point, and without him, Dixie doesn't work. I mean, who didn't love Dixie with Junior, but do we really care about her relationship with J.R.?

They could bring Dixie back and have her interact with other characters. The relationship with Tad ended a long time ago anyway. I just don't see why she should return when they have no ability to write for females as it is.
