One thing that chimed wrong, however, was Eric's plan to adopt Marcus. I know Marcus is singing "Eric Will Be Mah FATHER FIGURE" x 100, but what about his adoptive parents who raised his orphaned ass all these years? Changed his diapers? Put him through high school and college? Made him the fabulous human being that Eric was oinking about? What are they? Chopped liver? I guess money really does buy everything.

Seriously, it pissed me off. How insulting to all of the adoptive parents out there. Time after time soaps act as if they are second class parents. The really odd thing about this is that now Eric will be Marcus' legal parent and Donna won't. Of course, it's equally odd that someone who has already been adopted is being readopted as a grown man. This story is so beyond stupid.

I'm so upset how fast Justin found out that Marcus might be his. If TPTB wants to slow it down. They should hire a few more blacks guys just to throw Justin off the trail that Marcus is his.

And that is the only bright spot in this nonsense. I understand they want to ramp up the drama with Marcus calling Eric "dad" and all that, but it's all so contrived. Possibly the most contrived story I've seen on this show all year and that is saying something.

AMEN to that! He is one purdy boy, and I'm loving him so far. I'm glad B&B didn't try and draw out the reveal, there's some good drama without 6 months of "is he mine".

Maybe, just maybe we can be lucky to have Steph's stroke and Justin's entrance be the beginning of a Stephanie/Eric reunion? Let's face it, Donna/Eric is going nowhere. There would be more storylines for them as divorced and fighting over the mansion, the company and other stuff.

Texas Battle is beautiful, but he is playing Marcus as if he´s 9 years old. Marcus is in need of a personality change. New guy Justin Barber is fine, maybe there´s still a spark between him and Donna? Maybe they can be a family now, after spending 20-something years apart.

I think La Flannery will get nominated next year. She´s already had great material when Stephanie was fired from Forrester, she was at the bottom standing on the rocks on a beach looking out and remembering her life and then joining Jackie M. Now a stroke. Sounds like more Emmy-material to me.

Wow, I can't believe Justin found out about Marcus so quickly. Cat, you were right, this story is going to be over by Monday. This is brutal pacing! Brad Bell needs to give Gary Tomlin a call because Tomlin is like the master at pacing right now. LOL

Last week was UNBEARABLE with tired Donna who is in dire need of a break and Mushmouth Marcus being written like a 2 year old. So happy to tune in today and see Brooke looking FIERCE and Stephanie is back!

My mom thinks Donna is a monster. Since she returned to soaps, it's Jennifer Garies and Kim Zimmer that have gotten the most "LOL" responses.

I still think they need to recast Marcus. How many Remy was there on Y&R? Since Donna didn't comfirm that he was the father. I hope this means they going to hire more black guys from their High School years.
