They should have done it years ago with Bridget and CJ.

All this "shock" of Owen's would play better if Jackie hadn't sexually harassed him before they "fell in love" and got married.

Not only that, but they are obviously a couple who enjoy a healthy (and loud) love life. Hearing him talk about how refined and innocent he thought Jackie was makes me LMAO.

I thought I was going to get Justin two days in a row. I guess this means I'll have to watch B&B 5 days a week to catch Justin.

& hearing Steffy response was even funnier. When I see Steffy I don't think about innocent.

Famous last words but... I am looking forward to the Donna's Babydaddy SL (I say "SL" but this will probably be wrapped up by next Monday. Trust). And I am not a Jennifer Gareis fan. She's been giving a pretty well-judged, understated performance, though. BTW, who is the actor playing Justin Barber? So far, so good!

One thing that chimed wrong, however, was Eric's plan to adopt Marcus. I know Marcus is singing "Eric Will Be Mah FATHER FIGURE" x 100, but what about his adoptive parents who raised his orphaned ass all these years? Changed his diapers? Put him through high school and college? Made him the fabulous human being that Eric was oinking about? What are they? Chopped liver? I guess money really does buy everything.

LOL! For real. I need to stop reading these posts at work or I'm going to get in trouble from bursting into giggling fits.

I'm hoping they showcase his adopted family soon. Because this getting crazy for him to forget about then like that. Maybe they can bring a girl along for Rick or Thomas to know.

Okay, so they actually brought up Marcus' adoptive parents today, but it was like "I wasn't happy with them ... even though they took me in and loved me and fed me and put a roof on my head ... " LOL!

The adoption of a grown a** orphan child aside, I'm actually looking forward to this ... dare I be bold and presumptious enough to call it a story?

My guess is one of two things: [ A ] This will set up a nice little 6-week vacation or something, or [ B ] They're considering revisiting one of their all-time best stories (Steph loses her memory and lives with the homeless).

But who knows. Judging from the pace of the Marcus baby-daddy story and the Jowen reconciliation, this 'story' with Stephanie will be wrapped up in 5 days.

Great suggestions Mark but I suppose Steph's stroke is just an insta-plot device to drive a wedge between Donna & Eric...

...like Big Daddy is. But since the show is not half bad these days they might at least make it work.

I predict Emmy noms for La Flannery and John McCook if the material is any good, BTW...

I'm so upset how fast Justin found out that Marcus might be his. If TPTB wants to slow it down. They should hire a few more blacks guys just to throw Justin off the trail that Marcus is his.

Oh you mean Steph will be brain dead? And Eric will wash her feet and say a prayer? And a beam of light will descend from heaven and save Stephanie?

Nah. B&B would never be that hokey.

P.S. Just came back from a concert. Pressing play on the new episode. I hope it's goooood.
    • Yes! I actually started typing something up the other day but ended up not posting. It pretty much said something to the effect of the show feeling like there were a lot of balls in the air, the stories almost felt aimless. I am sure most of these will come to a head soon enough. I also wondered if it had something to do with the changes behind the scenes, but these lulls between major moments truly kill the momentum.
    • Will concede it's moving along slowly, but I am still hinged on every word every second. I refuse to miss anything.  OTOH, I watch GH were things are moving along  little quicker, but I have to FF certain scenes because it's extremely repetitive, where I don't get that from BTG.
    • I am toggling between Apr ‘82 Kay and Nikki, and Aug ‘92 Kay and Nikki… and it is a jarring juxtaposition! Nikki has calcified into a Stepford Wife

    • I've watched the show faithfully since the premiere, but I've found that I've let myself fall behind the past few weeks. It sort of feels like nothing is happening again. Does anyone else feel the same way? I would think for November sweeps they'd be pulling out all the stops.
    • I didn't even watch but saw the recap. I can't believe Billy Flynn has been saddled with all of this. He so deserved better.
    • Vernon was spotted by the worst person possible. Leslie is definitely going to use that to her advantage somehow.
    • Yesss! I cackled when Dr. Walked told Leslie to Google him (check my credentials). What is Elon's issue with Izaiah again? Considering we are supposed to believe that Izaiah was some troubled youth, why wouldn't Elon be gald his son has seemed to mature and has job at a great school. I get that family wounds and patterns can run deep, and somehow Joey was a paternal figure to Izaiah but Izaiah's troubles seem behind him.

    • Yeah. I wasn't feeling it either. If it was meant to be a chem test, it didn't work. I don't think so. Because I think Neil and Liz moved into that house after Stefano "died", and Neil lived there until he went to go see his patients and never came back
