Members tgilbrea69
Great to see ATWT moving out of the cellar!!! If the executive producer and head writer were fired, I'd really be happy :-)

Members Southofnowhere
Whatever happened to Jan anyway?
Members DRW50
Jan hit her head and was put in a coma. She never appeared again after that. I don't think she was written out because of anyone at the show now, that was the Reilly era. I do like Judi Evans but I'd rather see her as Adrienne, especially since Adrienne is not related to a Farah Fath character.
Members miche
ABC deserve their crappy rating.
Members quartermainefan
It doesn't have to literally be Jan Spears. It is just the concept that since this new writer has come on, DOOL has degenerated into being just like so many other soaps. Now instead of there being some interesting stories it is two years solid of Nicole, EJ, Sam and Stefano discussing this baby and the state of Nicole's relationship. And it never ends. Ok the kid is Sami's and they kept it hidden for two years. Couldn't they have had the courtesy to give Nicole a story while lies about this if they were going to showcase her five days a week? She is on everyday, but she doesn't do anything except talk about the same things she talked about for a year. When EJ was The Gloved Hand, he had a relationship with Sami and with Kate, but it was in the context of a larger story. Outside of the fact Nicole and EJ are a couple and exist, I don't see what huge story required five days a week airtime for a year straight. Just existing is not a reason to be front burner. EJ and Nicole's "story" does not seem to be deeper than Abe and Lexi's "story". EJ and Nicole have a child with fake parentage, Abe and Lexi have a child with autism. Nothing moves on either front and yet one pair are on endlessly despite being no more dramatic than the other.
Members JackPeyton
Days is doing what most soap fans have bitched about wanting for years now.... telling basic classic soapy story lines featuring characters that have been established and introducing new ones slowly before giving them a storyline. is it boring and predictable? sure. but it enterians me. i dont need stunts and events or whack characters to enjoy the show. I watch from week to week wondering when Sami will find out her baby is alive, when will Mia tell will she lied about being a druggie, what will EJ do when he finds out about Nicole's lies, and who is gonna hook up with who next between ari/brady/melanie/philip/stephanie/nathan. Furthermore i enjoy seeing Victor, Stefano, Caroline, and Maggie being used like soap vets should be used. Whatever its doing, its working. No its not for everyone, nothing ever is, but the numbers dont lie. They took a bold move by releasing vets, stars of the show, and it seems to be paying off. Hopefully they can maintain it and grow. Members Ann_SS
I keep trying to watch Days at 11:00 p.m. on SoapNet, but instead I get GH and Days does not come on after. What is going there? Is SoapNet trying to revive GH at Days' expense?

Members Southofnowhere
If AMC numbers sink low enough could the move be called off and showed axed or is AMC safe no matter how low the ratings go?
Members DRW50
AMC is probably safe for a while after the move because to can it right after the move would be bad PR.
Members Soapsuds
That's why it was moved. OLTL is the one that's in trouble. I think ABC wants to keep AMC instead of OLTL.
