Maybe they're imposters,have amnesia,on the run-any number of reasons. Thought it would be cool to brainstorm as many characters that we can think of that have alternate identities. To start off... Y&R Victor Newman-real name Christian Miller Leslie Brooks-went by the name Priscilla when suffering from amnesia. AW Cass Winthrop-disguised himself as a woman,Crystal Lake Felicia Gallant-real name Fanny Grady GH Luke and Laura-used the names Lloyd and Lucy Johnson when on the run. Can you add to this list? I remember this because Phoebe would delight in saying "Myrtle LUM" in total disdain usually reserved for "Donna BECK". Palmer Cortlandt was actually Pete Cooney. The love of his life, Daisy, called herself Monique Genviele (or something like that). On GH, Luke for years has had his alias, Dr Von Skimmermann, and years ago I think Felicia adopted a new identity while suffering from amnesia. Duke Lavery adopted a new name (I forget) when he died and came back with a new face. Jason Quartermaine became Jason Morgan. On DOOL, John Black was Roman Brady. OLTL: Jessica Buchanan= Tess Viki Buchanan= Nikki, and a few other personalities AMC: Erica= Desiree her Vegas showgirl name Maria Grey- Maureen Gorman, while having amnesia Zach Slater= Alexander Cambias, Jr. Janet Greene= Used the name Jane Cox when she first returned to Pine Valley. Langley Wallingford's real name was Lenny Vlasik(sp?) OLTL Asa used the name Jeb Stuart In the original story Carla Grey used the syrname Benari as she tried to pass for white. On The City, Sydney Chase's real name was Debbie Thompkins (her portrayer Morgan Fairchild's real name is Patsy McClenny). Primetime, but there was a lot of this going on on Dynasty/The Colbys. Dominique Deveraux's real name was Millie Cox, Caress Morell's was Cassandra (Cassie), Zach Powers' was... I forget . Babe was a nickname her mama gave her as child and it stuck. Also, Palmer Cortlandt is also known as Pete Cooney from the characters humble beginnings in Pigeon Hollow. Also on GH,Tiffany Hill's real name was revealed at her wedding to Sean-Elsie Mae Crumholtz. On Santa Barbara sophia Capwell was introduced as a a male character 'Dominic'and Mason Capwell had an amnesiac personality 'Sonny Sprocket'. On AMC,Jake Martin is actually Joe Jr. OLTL Bo Buchanan used the name Bill ? when he rejected his Buchanan heritage. Marco Dane used his dead brother's name-Mario Corelli GL Jennifer Richards(Amanda Spaulding's one time mother)was actually Jane Marie Stafford. Jared Banks pretended to be Jared Buchanan. Charlie Banks played along as Charlie Balsom. Alex Crown was Alex Coronal. Janet (Marty's nurse) was Lee Halpern aka Denison. Patrick London passed himself off as Bo Buchanan. Max Holden was "Matt" after he was presumed killed in a car crash (and had turned into Nicholas Walker). EON Jefferson Brown impersonated Sky Whitney. His servant, Gunther Wagner, was later revealed to be Gunther's twin brother--they decided to kill off the evil fake Sky & Gunther and replace them with the good ones. GL Buzz called himself Rex Mancini when he first came to town. GH Michael Corinthos, Sr. is Mike Corbin. Michael Corinthos, Jr. is Sonny. Michael Cates was Stone. Caroline Benson aka Carly Roberts. I think Frisco's real name was Andrew. Bert Ramsey was Mr. Big. Prior to learning who her parents were, Robin Scorpio had her surrogate grandmother's last name and was Robin Soltini. RH I don't think they ever said it but I think Joe Novak was an Americanized version of Novotny, his uncle's name. Jack Fenelli's first name was Giovanni.
