Members DRW50
Impressive that Stephen Schnetzer already had tags in promos after being on the show for only a year. Please register in order to view this content
Members amybrickwallace
Well, if anyone deserved them, he did. Cass was definitely a character worthy of them!!
Members TimWil
John Hutton (Peter Love #1) was very handsome. I think he left acting soon after leaving AW. I suspect he was from a wealthy family in real life and went into banking or something similar.
Members amybrickwallace
That's interesting - I wonder whatever happened to the other Peter Loves as well. Poor Marcus Smythe, the last actor to play Peter, had to play the character when he was painted into a corner and beyond redemption.
Members TimWil
On another board someone claims that Iris, when played by Carmen Duncan, never had scenes with Nancy Frangione's Cecile. This can't be true. I remember being disappointed that Cecile never tried to get revenge on Iris for bringing Philip Lyons to Bay City to woo her and then dump her. Anybody got any YT links?
Members SoapDope
Christopher Holder who played Peter Love # 2 is now an acting teacher. He has a web page and teaches at the Ivana Chubbuck Studio. Chris also played Kevin Bancroft on Y&R, Mark Aldrich on Edge Of Night, and Wade Matthews on All My Children.
Members TimWil
Ah, OK, found proof via YT. Of course they were on at the same time. I would have loved it if Cecile slept with Iris' fiance the night before the wedding day and played a video of it at Iris and her hubby's reception. Members amybrickwallace
Thanks, SoapDope. I'm glad he seems to have found a fulfilling career teaching acting. Edited September 5, 2014 by amybrickwallace
Members DRW50
I thought he was so gorgeous, and dashing, and charismatic. I don't feel like they knew what to do with the role once he was gone.
Members danfling
Probably because the actor had been so popular on One Life to Live.
Members amybrickwallace
Who did he play on OLTL?
Members Paul Raven
i think Danfling was referring to Schnetzer who played Marcello on OLTL.
Members YRBB
Wow... I can't believe it took me this long to realize that Mitch was played by none other than William Gray Espy. I guess that facial hair makes all the difference. I really--really--wish he would stop pronouncing Rachel as Rayshell, though. It kills me. Cecile is my bitch! And Pat's great.
Members DRW50
I didn't realize Marcello was popular. That's interesting.
Members robbwolff
I had the same reaction. I don't think Marcello was that popular. The character was only around for about 18 months. By the by, it appears that Eddie Drueding's AW page is gone. I tried accessing it but no luck.
