Members teplin
Way too young. He and Gail Brown had some nice, easy-going chemistry as Larry and Clarice, and he was believable as a policeman. Sexy, too. I hope he had a wonderful life after leaving AW.
Members sungrey
Sounds like he saved his AW money pretty well. Got into business after leaving acting and apparently did pretty well for himself! RIP.
Members juniorz1
Oh no. SO gorgeous back in the day too. May he RIP. LOVED me some Larry & MJ. Ok, and Clarice too.
Members Matt
I was watching this past Friday's episode of "Grimm" and I noticed that it was written by real-life marrieds and AW alums Thomas Ian Griffith & Mary Page Keller (ex-Catlin & Sally).
Members teplin
We Love Soaps has posted a great Rick Porter TV Guide cover. I was an avid reader of TVG in my youth, but this one is apparently before my time -- I don't remember it at all: http://www.welovesoaps.net/2013/03/rick-porter-dead-at-58.html#more
Members DRW50
I wonder if that was Canada. AW was very popular in Canada. I have one or two articles or photos I'm going to try to post soon. Great to hear that Thomas Ian Griffith and Mary Page Keller have broken into writing. I'm always fascinated by acting partners who become writing partners. The only other ones I can think of are Roger Newman (RIP) and Fran Meyers, although I don't even know if they had scenes together on GL. I know they didn't the way Griffith and Keller did. Members danfling
I think that the late Michael Zaslow and Susan Herford Zaslow were both writers. However, Mrs. Zaslow did not act.
Members saynotoursoap
Actually, Susan was an actress, just not in soaps. She and Michael met when they costarred in Fiddler on the Roof.
Members juniorz1
Carmen Duncan is actually Australian.
Members juniorz1
As I've said MANY times, I sure did. I NEVER got used to Judi Evans. I again repeat myself. In the summer of '91, we lost Anne Heche & Cali Timmins, then Julie Osburn in the fall. CRUSHING BLOWS, especially considering the Paulina/Vicky recasts. Thank GOD Alicia Coppola came in. Lorna was the new Vicky IMO. Oh, I felt he TOTALLY wanted to be with Kathleen actually, moreso on the rewatch. It was the writers who didn't want it that way. But IMO, Schnetzer played Cass's love for Kathleen as very palatable and real.
Members Bright Eyes
Rick Porter was also Hank Tobin #2 on Days of Our Lives from December 13, 1989 - March 5, 1990. Hank Tobin was J.J. Bagwood's brother. J.J. is the biological mother of Justin and Adrienne's twins, Joey and Victor. Hank began working for Adrienne's construction company. Anjelica soon plotted to use Hank to help put the company out of business, leading to Hank arranging to blow up a building with Adrienne inside. At the last minute, Hank had a changed of heart and tried to save her, but they were both caught in the explosion. Hank died before he could tell the truth about who was responsible for the building collapse.
Members DRW50
Thanks. That's one of those stories I don't know much about. Porter had returned to AW briefly for Mac's funeral in summer 1989. I guess someone at NBC must have seen him and gave him a quick role on DAYS.

Members DRW50
Thanks so much. Lisa looks beautiful in those photos. I had a real fondness for Lila and Lila/Cass.
