I said yesterday that I thought they were grooming Chloe to be the next Phyllis, and it's becoming more apparent by the day. I like that they are emphasizing that Chloe is actually good at her job and has the respect of both Nikki and Phyllis (they often listen to her ideas).

I remain FIRMLY against PM as Headwriter, firmly. I love him, he's excellent with dialogue, but being a HW is a whole other animal, and I'm pretty sure he said in an interview on Soaptown that he didn't have any desire to be a HW.

Relax, it's only a dream scenario anyway.

And he's been involved with storytelling and has written great dialogue, so I don't see how he'd be a disastrous HW at all. He didn't say anything explicitly about never wanting to HW in that interview, but I do know he'll probably never do it anyway.

What Head Writing experience did Maria Arena Bell have prior to assuming that position on Y&R? She wrote a few scripts and dropped out of daytime for 20 years.

I agree Vail is sexy as hell: the mole, the hair and the voice!

Rikaart definitely does better with a stronger actress than the likes of some of the cast.

I love the possible new friendship between MJ and Phyllis.

How weird were all of those scenes with Summer? That girl didn't have even one single line. It was almost as if she didn't have the power to speak. They all talked to her, asked her questions, but she kept quiet. They could have at least given her one line like "Daddy" or "Mommy." She's not that small anymore.

Does anyone know if Emily O'Brien is pregnant? She's been looking a little bigger in the belly the last few weeks.

Lily looked hideously ugly in that outfit. That hat did her no favors, just elongated her face and nose and the grumpy face didn't help matters. She really has no sense of humor.

I still want Amber/Kevin/Daniel and Jana to all hook up together rather than separately. I can totally see it in those characters.

Doesn't the ranch have security? If I had the kind of stalkers they do, even without the billions, I'd consider my personal security worth it.

With the reception that the Chipmunk storyline got, I can see why they are dropping that one from the radar. Sharon on the other hand still looks totally bonkers.

I wish they had never switched from that cute little red haired baby that was always eating and sticking her fingers in the eggnog. Especially since they aren't aging Fen the same way.

Maybe they did and she didn't say it? I get the impression she's quite shy. DRB would have owned that scene. LOL! (But I'm serious).

If anyone watched Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles last season, tell me that little girl who played Savannah Weaver wouldn't be the PERFECT Summer Newman! She even has the red hair for it.

Adam has become one of the best characters on Y&R. I love how he is taking down both Victor and Jack through Ashley. It is evil and conniving as hell. When it all comes out, everyone will know not to [!@#$%^&*] with him because he is a serious badass.

Victor needs to chill out. He knows the Newman men are a horny bunch. He should be proud that Adam could pull a hot chick like Heather and not be a cockblocker.

Why must we endure Reckless Style month after month???

There's always some trumped up emergency-The photographer has swine flu! The backdrop has been shipped to Bulgaria!!

Lot's of cell phone calls and 3 extras buzzing around in the background.

How about when Phyllis said she didn't want strangers working at the magazine.Honey, they're called qualified professionals and you employ them

It is beyond irritating.

Laughed when MJ said she could line up national talk shows.Yea,The View,Oprah etc would be begging to get coverage of the mag on their shows. Then,Phyllis responds(with a straight face)that it's too late as the next issue goes out next week-and they haven't even shot the cover!!

But don't worry folks, the issue will be a smash success nationwide.

The writers continue to make references to the woes of the economy and then ignore that magazine are dying left, right and centre.

RESTLESS SHITE MUST DIE!!!

Then,as usual,GC residents make the front cover.

    • Christian Streaty wrote her second freelance script today on Days. Surprised they gave the first funeral episode to a newbie.
    • And the third thing, which I have no cite for, and I may look to see if one is findable, but supposedly she said that the show had too much gay content in it. And, to be fair, that could be someone making a criticism about balance & not be bigotry but when it's added to the other, that's why it bugs people.

The greatest tv series season finale in history.
    • Mick Savage was sooo unbearable. And more unbearable was the reaction from the female characters to him - they were acting like he is God's gift to women and sooo irresistible. To a point of unbelievable cringe.
    • Today was a short one. Only 33 minutes.  The ‘Part One’ graphic at the beginning was pretty interesting though. I didn’t expect them to do something like that.  I like how everything was focused around John and his family and friends. Again, the acting and the dialogue was very well done and well written. And I love that they were able to incorporate Drake’s, “swing for the fences” phrase into the script. It was nice seeing everyone interact with each other, especially characters who don’t often share scenes together. It felt like every character was part of a big family or community. Plus, an outdoor funeral in June makes a lot more sense than an outdoor funeral in December.  But yeah, it’s very, very strange that Will isn’t at the funeral, especially since we know that

I would much rather he had been there today. And, where’s Anna too? And Jack and Jennifer? What was the point of bringing them all back if they weren’t going to attend the funeral? I expected Steve to want to close down BlackPatch, though I’d rather he just retire and let Paul take it over. But I like that Kayla was there to comfort him. I wonder if he’s going to change his mind at some point.  It was nice seeing Shane again too. Now, he just needs to have more scenes with his son lol but I enjoyed seeing him comfort Marlena. I’m not really sure about his interaction with Cat though? Was it really necessary for this to happen now, at John’s funeral? They could’ve waited a little longer to introduce this story arc.  Btw, was Tate bleeding from his head in his first scene with Arianna?

    • Now this strikes me as funny. I have it up on my acct. The thing is I only have S2. Didn't want either 1 or 3.  Perhaps I should just list all of these that I have up.  Parodies: Dirty Sexy Money, Filthy Rich Incomplete: The Monroes, All That Glitters, Falcon Crest (have all just not all up), Once & Again S2 only Complete: Models Inc, Pasadena, Pacific Palisades, Paper Dolls, Flamingo Road
    • This is wonderful! Thank you for posting this! I loved the first two seasons and never got to see the final season when they cancelled the DVD release. I've been hoping this popped up on streaming but no luck. Happy I'll finally get to see how it ended!
