Y&R: Oh, you Lane fans say the darndest things!

This manages to be both delusional and inspiring at the same time.

"GG,

i kind ofliking the baby s/l them trying and not being able to get **** right away

that is internal angst for them and character developement. At least they are giving them a s/l right after their wedding and you know CK/DG is going to knock it out of the ball park with their fantastic acting because they play emotion so well.Eventually they will have their baby but it is going to be good watching them trying and dealing with all the angst

that comes with trying for a baby

.I am just going to be happy waching them get ready for their wedding and I know a lot of people who are too.

Just remember to vote in all things Lane."

This demands a rapid and fierce stroke of a sword, to the death, samurai style. Just cut all their illogical guts and hope that sanity is present in their core. For while I do despise their opinion, I respect their devotion, however blind it is, for Lane. I wish I had the same passion from my irritation.

Thus I ask, if we vote in all things Sane, will we get less Lane? Does voting on the cbs.com site matter in the end?

I actually saw her post on the CBS board.

There can't be two people in the world who love Emmy Rossum, Lane, and thought CK looked devastatingly sexy in that strapless red dress she wore last week. I swear there were multiple posts about how they wondered how Cane didn't rip all of her clothes off in that scene and went all googly-eyed after the the pup.

I kind of like them.

Well, more like dont hate them.

I really dont think they are all that bad.

i don't find them nearly as horrible as other people do. I'm not insinuating anything here, just observation, but people who hate Lily seem to hate her cause she's not with a black man and that she gets with all the hunky actors. They are the meanest to CK. I'm not fond of her interpretation of Lily, but seeing her and Cane happy is fun for me to watch.

And this thread is so mean - why can't people like who they like without being ridiculed for it?

Well, we wouldn't have so many vets in the forefront if they did think that. But they must believe people actually enjoy them if they keep shoving them down our throats. And I think one of the biggest problems with them is how little sexual chemistry they share. They're like brother and sister. Even Katherine and Kevin have more chemistry.

but some people actually DO enjoy them.

Some LOVE them.

For some they are the reason they watch the show.

Which is barf inducing....

LOL, so true!

I mean... i dont have hate for them. I actually do like them from time. I thought they were really cute in the bar today -- but still, i dont root for them. i dont love them together. and i think they are much better off apart.

But they do have fans out there. And not all of them are cbs.com crazys.

A-FREAKING-MEN.

I'm not a big fan of this couple. I like both Lily and Cane (or rather, I like both Khalil and Goddard), but I can take or leave them as a couple.

But starting a thread for the sole purpose of attacking a fan base is just nasty. It's the kind of thing I'd expect from Moila.

No, don't let them. A show can't be good on one side and then this sick relationship on the other. It's too childish.

I have to dispute the characterization of lane as "sick". It's not sick. Sick might be interesting and compelling. Lane is sappy, sugary and coma inducing sweet. It's everything a soap couple should not be, if that couple is going to get any kind of major airtime.

But if some people like them, I have no problem hitting my FF button.

People have the right to enjoy them. I'm not blaming the fans, per se. I actually wish they were supplied with more than they have been offered. If they like fluffy cotton candy, it is their right. But I wish we all could enjoy it with them.

Seriously: What the [!@#$%^&*] are we talking about?

The devotion the Lane fans show, while intense, seems to be working for them. I wish there were more people from this board expressing themselves on the cbs.com board, which many seem to be frightened of, and some feel would be a waste of time since the cbs.com may not be as important to swaying TPTB as I suspect it is.

This initial opinion has been remixed into "we hate Lane." And now there are several posts about how inappropriate it is to offend a fanbase for liking Lane.
