Just watched Monday's show. AMAZING! Enjoyed it so much!

Katherine and Murphy were sweet. But yeah, I'm kinda now wishing it would come to an end. But I'm still enjoying it.

Greg Rikaart, Emily O'Brien and Adrianne Frantz are all great in this storyline. While the story was a bit rushed and is kinda ridiculous, I am still enjoying it a lot. Mostly because it makes for a good drama and good acting. And this is shocking to me, because I never liked Kevin, Jana or Amber.

So I watched Tuesdays.. LOVED IT!

While the Jack/Mary Jane thing isn't so interesting so far, I do sit through, sits it just started and the story is building up. I'm sure it will be amazing later on.

But omg, Katherine's story and Kevin's story are so much fun!

Murphy wanting to propose was so nice and then being interrupted by Nikki and Paul.. I felt bad for the poor guy. I'm sure he is scared that Kay won't come back one it is proven that she's Kay Chancellor.

Jill yelling at Nikki was so good! More of that! Second best scene of the day was when Kay walked into Victor's home and yelled at him. OMG, I laughed so hard! I was GREAT!

My favorite scene of the day was when Kevin put Amber in that coffin! OMG! He is completely crazy! Love it! It was a great episode all around!!

Sharon Case's facial expressions are too funny......

My, she did say alot with just her facial expression, loved it!

I can't believe that Lily finally took a chance and stood up to stupid ass Cane; she does have a little mind of her own. Even though, it's still hard to believe that Dru mothered this girl, every now and then she showcases her inner Dru... just slightly but still.

RE: Jana/Kevin/Amber/Daniel, perhaps they should all just swap partners already. I can see a kind of sweetness to a Daniel/Jana pairing and GR and AF do have more chemistry although, MG and AF seem to have chemistry with most (not everyone mind you, but most!).

I didn't like the anniversary episode (tomorrow's US episode). I bet everyone else will love it, but I for one thought it was very meh.

I'm such a sap. I fell in love Jack all over again today. I just love him or maybe it is Peter Bergman's talent that I love. Either way, I'm back in love with Jack so sue me.

Of course, Victor had to figure out the truth about Katherine immediately.

Love Billy and Chloe. They are so sarcastic and not lovey dovey like annoying Lilly and Cane. Let's see how long Lily keeps her backbone and refuses to help Cane steal Delia.

I should mention, I really loved the ending in tomorrow's US episode with the Katherine/Murphy stuff.

Jill and Victor were also very good. There's a hilarious line Victor says to Jill tomorrow.

Looking back...Primetime Ratings from the 80's

Not that there wouldn't have been opportunities! For instance, they could've hired George Takei (there's your ST person) as one of Chao-Li's relatives, who was also after the Nazi treasure. Or they could've hired Anthony Daniels and Kenny Baker (a.k.a. C3PO and R2D2) as another team out for the gold (and comic relief for the storyline). Heck, they could've even hired none other "Blofeld" himself, Donald Pleasance, as a sworn enemy of Gustav and his father's, who will stop at nothing, including romancing poor Emma, to keep Riebmann from reclaiming the treasure.

I agree. Especially because it happened so damn quickly, with absolutely no breathing room for him, for Cathy, for all of us.
David Jacobs insisted that was the plan all along, but I doubt it. I think they had every intention of keeping Joshua around for years to come, but Michael Filerman and his ego ruined everything.
I'd still love for someone who was there to explain to us what the original intention was for Empire Valley; was it ALWAYS meant to be revealed as an underground spy network? Because, even if that wasn't how it started, it still feels as if they were leading up to something big. Otherwise, why invest so much time in another real estate development scheme? We'd already been there and done that with Lotus Point.

DAYS: December 2025 Discussion Thread

I feel like Days was always going to run into this problem regardless of writing. Days has done a horrible job establishing the next generation of leads. It has relied on Marlena, John, Bo, Hope, Kayla, Steve, etc., etc. for far too long. We end up at this point where most of the characters that get significant airtime are boring.
It seems to me the writing team is just too afraid to entirely revamp the show and are doing the bare minimum and coasting along with mediocre material. Because at least it's not as bad and offensive as Ron, right? Let's not rock the boat too much.

Honestly it's been campy from the get-go. If one enjoys it, they should make peace with the fact it's pure camp.
Kat's hat was giving Lindsey McKeon's Marah (GL) vibes when SATC's stylist Patricia Field joined the show.

Madison is such an underdeveloped character - she can be a genius doctor and then a teenager - and the whole relationship with Chelsea is treated as an afterthought. This show has too many characters and too few (talented) writers.
Extra comments:
Greg Vaughn is a pro and a stud, however I don't see where the story is with him and Nicole. There's no stakes, no tension. Mark my words: they will tease a big secret with Kial in the next few months, that's all they can do story-wise.
Speaking of love stories: how grand can these love stories be if the most exciting thing these couples can do is bounce between cafes and book a hotel room? If I see that hotel room one more time, I'll scream. They have a huge problem with sets.
I have liked Vanessa so far but I don't understand what they want to do with her.
While WF was a bust, I'm enjoying the new writing and I'm loving the direction lately. They're experimenting a lot - and succeeding.

I literally have no idea what's next for Ashley and Derek. Not that I'm worried at all, but they've been written into a corner. They were isolated before, they're even more isolated now.
I don't see any chemistry between Shanice & Ted. In fact, I don't see any chemistry between Keith's Ted and ANYONE.

Yeah.
Amanda got pregnant, and (I think) she wasn’t sure if Chris or Greg was the father. But the pregnancy turned out to be ectopic and she had to terminate it. And it sounds like, after that, she decided to just make a go of her marriage to Greg and left Salem with him.
Which was too bad because from what I’ve read, Greg sounds like a real douche 😂😂😂
I wish more of this time period was available to see

There have been a lot of boring couples lately. And a little too much Dimera. I think that all the ingredients are there for a good show, but Paula/Jeanne just need to use them more effectively. And yeah, a few characters do need to be sent packing lol
I’m surprised that they haven’t actually gone over budget, with the amount of characters we’ve seen on screen lately lol

As for techniques, maybe playing a character as smug or arrogant was one of them.

Ripley Under Ground unraveled in the last one third. Absolute mess. I enjoyed the first 200 pages, but then it absolutely went off the rails. I can't give it more 5/10 for this reason. Shame.
I will still try the third book in this series.
