Someone WILL always say something , you will always get defensive over the same character but please stop whining as a defense. EVERYBODY has a right to his or her opinion. WE get it YOU LIKE CK and TS acting and some other people disagree, please break the cycle one day let's move on...

I think you misunderstood... I said good things are going on at the show (good storylines), so why should we spoil the fun by mentioning a part of the cast we don't like over and over and over and over again...

I think Colleen potentially could become the new Jill. Even last year when Colleen was written as a royal bitch, I saw elements of Jill in her.

If Tammin Sursok can't eventually mould Colleen into Jill's equal, no one can.

Nope, Colleen will never be Jill's replacement. Jill Abbott is the kind of character that comes once in a show's history, particularly when she's played by a talent like Jess Walton, unique in a show of heavy hitters.

And you're right, NO ONE can mould Colleen, or anyone, into Jill's equal, including Tammin. Colleen should be and is being written as Colleen, Tammin should be and probably is very happy with the material she's been given. And that's terrific.

I'm not getting defensive over any of the actors. I don't favor one over the other. I see them all as being decent actors (for the most part save Daniel Goddard who isn't all bad if I'm honest).

As in calling someone delusional...? Is that really necessary? I get that you don't agree. That''s fine and all. You're entitled to disagree as much as you want. I don't see the point of calling him delusional though. And I definitely don't see why you need to roll your eyes at him or act all supercilious as if your opinion is straight from the Soap Opera Bible and cannot be questioned...

I don't belittle everyone else's opinion, as I've said other times in this thread, everyone is free to say what they what. What I have a problem with is your hypocrisy. How you can generalize certain posters and then point out what's wrong with them, without ever acknowledging that you've also made decisions in this thread that could potentially start things to go off topic.

Talk down to others? If you mean that one and only person as "others" then you don't know what you are talking about. We are only discussing the certain topic, and it suddenly turns us into a sect trying to push our agenda on other people.

Also, this is a forum. Why would we keep our thoughts to ourselves when we can discuss it here?

What decisions have I made?

I didn't make the decision to call anyone else delusional.

I certainly didn't bring up any comparisions between Colleen and Jill as a lil side shot at the actress.

I certainly didn't mention Phick with the intention of starting an argument. I had a concrete and valid point regarding them and their so called split that many Shick fans were claiming was going to happen.

So pray do tell me what exactly have I said to provoke an argument?

As far as generalizations the only one I've said is that you and dmarex appear to be holier than thou. Now maybe that's wrong. I don't know you at all and I can only base that off the few weeks or so I've been a member. However it's based on your comments so far and your attitude when you reply to y&rfan's comments and others as well.

Anyways I'm done with this little pointless tirade. Bottom line is that I think its ridiculous to call someone delusional because you don't believe what they do.
