February 16, 200917 yr Author Member Love the Dead Like Me banner, dmarex! But I'm still pissed about the Daisy recast and no Rube. I am going to apologize in forward for going totally off-topic, but I've already posted a topic about this series and it got no responses, so I'd just like to say what I want over here and then I'll continue with Y&R. The movie was great, IMO. I was upset about the Daisy recast at first, but I was ready to overcome most changes just because we got the movie. It is unexplainable how happy I was to finally see the movie, another adventure from the reaping team. The entire movie was funny and interesting. Sure, the Daisy recast and weird (and Daisy was a little bit too much of a ho), and we didn't have Rube there (if the series ever got a chance to get renewed and MP agreed to return, I'm sure they could find a way to bring him back-it's not like he said his goodbyes or was seen on-screen departing). I loved everything, from the Happy Days scenes, Cameron Kane's exit, Reggie finding out the truth and the gang enjoying their time without their responsibilities. Now back to Y&R...... Apparently Chris Engen responded to a fan saying that he has no idea where the rumor about him hooking up with Phyllis came from (another fan seems to be making up things) and that as far as he knows he isn't on recurring. Adam will be seen on the day Hope died, but I don't know what's next for the character . TGVN had another very musical scene and Olivia has a nice chat with Ashley. Neil's also on as Victor's sidekick. Everything totally felt like the old days. Just as long as Karen nor Tyra are there, it feels like the old days.
February 16, 200917 yr Author Member There is also this one thing that's left me in the dark. Jeanne Cooper said that this currently storyline she's in will bring back another former character. But if Mac wasn't cast yet or something, could it be she was talking about some other person?
February 16, 200917 yr Member Just as long as Karen nor Tyra are there, it feels like the old days. Karen is mentioned but not seen. Although I suppose Valentine's day will last all week long and therefore she might resurface in the next couple of days real-time. As for Jeanne Cooper's statement: sounds marvellous, maybe Nina will arive with Phillip? Although I'd be even more thrilled if it were Donnelly Rhodes doing a Phillip voiceover or sth. like that in the wake of Kay re-gaining her memory... Either way (and I'm sure I'm wrong with both my presumptions) this will likely get really good
February 16, 200917 yr Member Is there anyone else missing from the original Marge storyline? Maybe that's the person Jeanne is talking about... Edited February 16, 200917 yr by Y&RWorldTurner
February 16, 200917 yr Author Member Is there anyone else missing from the original Marge storyline? Maybe that's the person Jeanne is talking about... Maybe the two servants, Morey and Lil? I doubt it's them, though. Edited February 16, 200917 yr by dmarex
February 16, 200917 yr Member More or less spoiler-free: About Monday... The show gave me the chills. The cabin drama was nothing but spectacular. It was a totaly copy-kill of Bridget's birth on B&B, one of the finest moments in the show's history, though. Great acting, great writing - soap at it's best. Kay being kidnapped is fantastic. You won't believe what Kay/Jeanne Cooper is doing on Mondy... LOL! Oh, and the wacko "nurse"... TGVN had another very musical scene and Olivia has a nice chat with Ashley. Neil's also on as Victor's sidekick. Everything totally felt like the old days. Thanks for the previews! I'm very much looking forward to the Billy/Lily/Chloe scenes.
February 16, 200917 yr Member Is it me or does the guy who plays Billy look alot like Peter Bergman? ANDREA
February 16, 200917 yr Member Apparently Chris Engen responded to a fan saying that he has no idea where the rumor about him hooking up with Phyllis came from (another fan seems to be making up things) and that as far as he knows he isn't on recurring. Adam will be seen on the day Hope died, but I don't know what's next for the character. I know I just said it as a passing observation that they had chemistry during their first scenes together. I had no idea there was actually some rumor about it. I still stand behind the idea though.
February 16, 200917 yr Member Only good things about todays show were the Amber/Kevin/Jana/Daniel scenes with Jill and the last scene with Nikki, Victor, and Ashley. Everything else was boring as hell.
February 16, 200917 yr Member Boring? TETO because I thought this episode was fantastic. This is going down in history as one of my favorite soap births of all time. Usually they deliver such big clean babies. I also think that EH and BM have chemistry in spades. They better not kill Chloe off, or the baby, just so Lily has no complications. Jack and Billy could become obstetricians, it is like a legacy to deliver their own children. Yes I know Summer is considered to be Nick's but she really should be Jack's. I just love Kay biting Clint, way to go. The rubber knife was a bit obvious but I can't blame JC for not wanting a real blade pressed up against her throat. And if they aren't casting Mac maybe the actor who plays Brock will be paying a visit. Emily O'Brien looked pregnant to me when they showed a long shot. Anyone know if she is? I love Jana/Kevin/Amber and Daniel as much as the next person, but don't think there will be any benefit to having Amber and Kevin hook up, other than to just reinforce what a slut she is. I wish they would use MG/Daniel while they still have him. If the show is smart, they will continue to keep him on recurring as they have plenty of young men in that age group so they really don't need to re-cast. His movie career might go the same way as CK's/Lily and he might need the job back one day.
February 16, 200917 yr Author Member Killing off Chloe would be a huge mistake, IMO. Especially for Lily. It would be Maria taking three steps back from her improvement. I doubt it will happen. Only good things about todays show were the Amber/Kevin/Jana/Daniel scenes with Jill and the last scene with Nikki, Victor, and Ashley. Everything else was boring as hell. I don't know what show you are watching, but it can't be Y&R. "Boring as hell" is a line only reserved for other soaps (not all, but most).
February 16, 200917 yr Author Member I just found this on a few other boards, from those with keen eyes..... "Kay"'s letter to Murpy spells out CLINT with first letters in each row: Can't take it anymore Lied to you, Murphy I'm not Kay Now I have to leave Till we meet again.
February 16, 200917 yr Member HOLY CRAP!! I totally did not even realize that! Brilliant, just freaking brilliant!!! God, I love this show.
