I wonder how long her contract is, and really, since she's so interested in doing outside projects, I can't see her wanting to stay when her contract is up, despite what she may say in interviews or whatever.

We'll see how long, in this trouble economy, they continue to pay her a contractual salary for a measly 3-5 appearances a month for throwaway scenes.

The funeral wasn't throwaway scenes . It sounds like she might get positioned to be more central in story, and that her character might be better defined as "taking up Brad's torch". Again, I see no value in devolving these threads into love/hate. I offer no defense of the actress, but only to note that she hasn't been given proper opportunities to grow into the role either. I think there is real potential with this character (JT unfinished business, Kevin unfinished business, Daniel/Amber unfinished business, genuine best friend to Lily until recently, role in the Newman-Abbott wars). I don't really care whom TPTB entrust the role to...I'd just like to see the character played to her potential....which is pretty much at the center of the young generation of the show. Here's hoping MAB-and-team will finally do that. If they don't like the current actress, then it is time for a recast, but Colleen should be central.

Why can't he be serious? And what's with the attitude? Really rolling eyes doesn't make your OPINION the Gods honest truth or canon.

Christel is easily more interesting to watch for me than that the ADA who's only claim to fortune is trying to nail Victor to the wall.

Eileen Davidson is in a whole nother league of actors and acting. That's like comparing oranges to apples.

As far as EH goes she's good but nothing I've seen from her is OMG worthy that justifies all this hatred towards the skills of the other two articles.

To me Christel and Sursok are FINE and in fact are just as good as the other 2 girls that seem to be favored.

You CAN"T be serious! Sorry, but I couldn't help but have the attitude with the original post because statements like that make me want to question the seriousness of the post. So I did just that. Many posters on this and other boards make offhanded comments just to inspire a reaction much like the one I gave. I believe that was the intention of that post so I just gave the person exactly what they asked for.

And guess what? We're all entitled to our opinion, you, me, that poster, everyone. I know it was just my OPINION and not fact. It was my perogative to roll my eyes and as long as that smiley remains an option, I'll use it whenever I wish. I will say that my liking of EH doesn't have anything to do with my supposed hatred (which I don't have) for the other two actresses. I have disliked CK since her first tenure and TS since the moment she arrived. The problem I have had with both actresses is that they replaced far more capable and charismatic actresses who fit their roles much better and made me actually enjoy Lily and Colleen, which said a lot, considering I didn't give a hoot about either character before or after they were played by Davetta Sherwood and Adrianne Leon, respectively.

Can't wait for Y&R today- I seriously am so in love with the show right now that I don't want to miss even the most throwaway of scenes. They're firing on all cylinders and I continue to applaud MAB for proving the naysayers to be oh so wrong.

It is hard not to discuss it because those characters are used often lately, but we should stop poisoning the threads.

I will do my best to start liking what TS just because the storyline coming will have a lot of her, especially as of today. I'll try to put away everything that happened to see things from a different perspective. I don't want to ruin the storyline for myself, so I'll see how it goes.....

Yeah I couldn't understand anything, to Miller's defense Billy was supposed to be drunk so that still passes I wonder what is Goddard's excuse? Or the director's for making that the money shot.

Kate Linder has been wonderful this week. Another reason why MAB gets this show, she has re-integrated Ester back into the canvas.

What is with these young morons going after Victor? If it was me, I would do my homework and read Ruthless before taking that guy on. Even well established forceful characters played by great actors have tussled with him and barely lived to tell the tale. The only one I see being able to take Victor to task and make him pay is Ashley, and even then I have my doubts. Jill has a good chance too and I think that Y&R could be on fire if Victor and Jill went at it and it lead to smoking hot sex!

Are you guys telling me that Billy and Sharon leave the bar and then nothing? I want dirty, nasty, raunchy sex. Enough of this making LUV crap.
