Whatever your opinion of Tammin,it is strange that Colleen has been completely ignored for months.

She is part of the next generation of Abbotts(like Billy) and more important than the likes of Amber or Jana. They either need to send her off to live with her mom or give her something to do.

There's plenty of ways she could be involved even if the writers don't want to commit to a big story at this time.she's not even seen waitressing at Crimson Lights.

What is her relationship with Abby?

How does she feel about Brad and Sharon?

By the way,why isn't she living with Brad?

The same applies to Victoria, who pops in once in a while.I understand that characters need to be backburned but it's too much.

Gosh - all the couples on the show are so good! Kay and Murphy are by far the best. Their relationship is so real and intimate. I only wish Murphy could have been featured in the "Men We Love" RS issue! Ha! The Billy/Lily/Chloe/Cane quad is on fire too. Cane/Lily are "keepers" - safe and sound, but dreadfully boring. Billy and Chloe know that their relationship would be turbulent and they don't trust each other - but they're clearly in love. Paul and Nikki (can we call them Pikki?) seem are cool. Looks like a s/l is brewing for JT and victoria at last. I sense a return to JT's wild side is in the works. If only a return for Heather Tom was also in the works as well...sigh.

I knew Clint was going to try to kill Kay! February sweeps are going to be GOOOODD!

I've said it before, but it is worth repeating, Chloe and Billy are golden. They suck me in even though I'm not particularly keen on Y&R at the moment. They are definitely in love and jealous of their current boring significant others. I love how they snark at each other and tease each other. WHen Once they get together, they are going wreck havoc on Genoa City and I can't wait. I loved that Jack was looking out for Billy. They both need each other as an ally. When Cane and Lily get together, they are going to end up on the backburner just like J.T. and Victoria.

I noticed the Aussie accent more than ever and wondered if she was even bothering at all anymore.

Most people were dressed well, but Sharon looked like a badly wrapped gift left over from Christmas. The pattern of the shirt, the tie at the waist and then an ugly broach to top it off.

Also what is up with the ugly jewelry, especially the necklaces, gold and jeweled alike. Phyllis had a horrible necklace at the party that looks like it was designed by the same person who designed Sharon's miss matched broaches on a string she was wearing in New York. Well except for Jill, I liked the purple necklace she had on the other day, simple and elegant.

I still can't believe that Amber is one of my favorite characters on Y&R. It is amazing how changing shows has turned this character into a real heroine, likable and acting like her age. When she was on B&B she was horrible and all she was interested in was using babies to trap men. Her relationship with Katherine is really touching.

Chloe and Billy are my favorites. Their chemistry is so fun and sexy. It just goes to highlight how both have to prop up the lameos they are paired with.

I am really loving this Kay storyline more and more. I think it is the best plotted storyline in the last decade- on any show. I was so disappointed when it appeared to be winding down when Kay started to get her memory back. I though for sure sure that Nikki would believe her!

But sure enough, as if Bill Bell was writing this show it took off in another direction. Kay is back in the trailer with her new lover :), Esther has been totally revitalized in a completely fun way, You have Clint back in a completely ingenious way- taking his 2nd shot at fortune. It is suspenseful and you can feel Maria Bell's complete confidence in the audience to stay along for the ride.

They are not rushing it- they are building suspense in a logical way- and this storyline has never once gotten boring..

Pretty close to perfect.

Some of the other parts of the show I could care less about, but I have always felt that way about any show I watch.

But this Kay storyline, and Nick and Sharon- good stuff.

Also, They should have tried to get this Shiva Rose chick (who was quite appealing actually, much to my surprise) to play a new fictional character. Preferably a slighty psycho one. She could be excellent.

Well, since Maria has been correcting all those mistakes, maybe some day in the future we'll get Keemo.

And yeah, no improvement visible on TS. It's only wishful thinking, I guess. I wonder what they will do with Colleen

.

    • Love this! You are both adorable. Wow
    • I have not gone back to watch much of 1987, but from what I've seen lately, it doesn't feel like the writers or producers had any sort of plan. The show feels as if it's constantly in flux.  I will give it credit for this. It's watchable for the most part minus Lisa/Jamie which I find nearly unwatchable now.   I don't find Cheryl mousy. I think she has a lot of quiet strength, but she was saddled with the Scott romance which the writers did not invest in. She had a good friendship with Julie (also criminally underused), and her interactions with Ada were enjoyable as well. I also like Layman, but Spencer was extremely talented and when Cass returns, Schnetzer and Spencer have some wonderful scenes. Spencer also fits in with Alexander, Hogan, and Marie.  I'd forgotten just how much I missed seeing Wallingford. IT was so good to see him again. Even when they didn't have a major plot, Felicia/Cass/Wallingford/Mitch always brings a smile to my face.
    •   Dani’s cute ass party planner. He gave me some tea but I was so drunk I don’t remember it.
    • NBC must have been grateful to have LHOTP, it's only hit and still strong after several seasons. Their next established show was Rockford Files at 45th. They didn't develop any comedies and relied on movies and mini series  which didnt establish viewer loyalty and habits. Their only new hit was mid season's Project UFO which debuted Feb up against Rhoda/On Our Own on CBS and How the West Was Won on ABC. It opened with a strong 36 share beating CBS and close to ABC as HTWWW had a 36 share over 3 hours. The next week UFO saw a respectable 32 share, then a 31 so it was slipping. A 28 share followed but a few weeks later it jumped back up to a 34. So no blockbuster but compared to what else they had, there was potential, So next season NBC sent it to Thursday up against Mork and The Waltons and it bombed.  They were smart to see potential in Chips, which took off on Saturdaysnext season. ABC was on a roll with Love Boat, 3's Company, Taxi, Eight is Enough adding to their hits. Their only real flops were Redd Foxx and San Pedro Beach Bums, an Aaron Spelling misfire. Like Redd Foxx, Harvey Korman was lured to ABC but his series was a filler that did well but was considered a time slot hit. Nancy Walker and Rob Reiner were also given series on the philosophy that not only were they popular names, their absence from popular shows like Sanford, Rhoda and All in the Family might weaken those shows. CBS were relying on old favorites. Betty White was strong the first few weeks then faded. Incredible Hulk was their strongest newbie. It was lucky for CBS that NBC was doing so badly or else some of their weaker shows would have really suffered.
    • That outfit looks like something Martin would wear lol.
    • Omg not we both ran into people from the show this weekend!
    • I guess he was let out the gates, because he's outside.
    • Yup.  You can hate John all you want, but like seriously he was the cornerstone of the show for years.  So he should get a long ass funeral and burial and all the things because Drake and John deserve that.
