I don't doubt for a second that Frons wants to get rid of AMC (and has probably, over the years now, convinced his bosses it's the thing to do) and would love to have Days to play around with, but some of the specifics Nelson is tossing around don't make sense. Was Days up for renewal in 2007 too!?

Which show boasts more than a handful of gay hunks in its cast?

Y&R.

Christian LeBlanc, Greg Rikaart and Billy Miller have been rumored to be gay. Bryton McClure and Michael Grazierdi could be as well.

Chris Evans’ brother, Scott (Officer Fish), is out and proud. The Fantastic Four star told The Advocate, “Yes, I do have a gay brother. I’m down with the gays. Mostly I’m hanging out with him and his gay buddies, who are hilarious. They’re the funniest people I know.” Layla’s one lucky chick.

So THAT'S why they cast another actor as the new cop in town instead of promoting Fish!

—Which Emmy winner is beginning to worry that their head writer is out to fire them because of a past alliance with a former scribe?
I think this may be Michelle Stafford since LML obviously loved her (being Shelia's double?).

Billy Miller has a girlfriend I think. I don't get gay vibes from Michael Grazierdi and I've never wondered about Bryton's sexuality and never will.

I think OLTL is up there with Y&R though as far as gay hunks though.

That hunk and awesome actor mark Lawson Majored in MUSICAL THEATRE. ++fingers crossed++ that its OLTL. :)

That really pisses me off that ABC was going to ditch any of their soaps for Days. Sickens me actually.

And if Days keeps up these ratings, it wouldn't surprise me if this remains a possibility.

Valentini must really have some damn budgeting skills for them to have considered AMC for cancellation two years in a row. Wow.

Who cares? They're soaps. You'd be better off trying to keep track of who's straight.

HAHAHA true that.

Also, I thought the same thing as the poster above - michelle stafford is the emmy winner scared of being fired^^

If I was a producer of a soap I would do everything in my power to steal these script writers

Then, I say, let's thank our lucky stars he isn't a soap producer, b/c OLTL's scriptwriters, IMO, "miss" more than "hit".

He is so full of these id!otic statements that I just don't know how is it that he can shamelessly continue making them. He has embarrassed himself so much that it just becomes a sort of hilarious version of tragicomedy.

Dear Lord, how many more of those can he actually come up with?
